"Why did I let them talk me into letting them take micah with them?" Kayla sighed as we stood around in the kitchen.
The boys left this morning to do God knows what and they took Micah, Bryson and Nasir along with them so we just cooked us some breakfast and talked after we got dressed.
"Girl you know he fine with Boomer. Besides, I doubt they do something stupid cause Kentrell got Nasir" I told Kayla as I finished eating my waffle. Kemoni sat in her high chair beside Elena eating eggs, well pretty much making a mess
"I know he's fine. But still, I miss my son"
"Oh you one of those mommas that want their baby around them 24/7? Chile I stay ready to send Bryson to his daddy" Jamie responded to Kayla and we all laughed
"His lil bad ass. I bet so"
"Forreal! He acts too much like Ben it's unbelievable. I remember the other day he was walking around with no shirt on so I told him to put his shirt back on and he looked at me talkin bout "mane no". I almost beat the hell outta him"
"These kids bad. I already told Kentrell about that one right there" I pointed to Kemoni
"Every bit of that is her daddy's fault" Elena told me and I agreed
"You right. But you know it's gonna be his fault when she started acting out when she get older. And when he get tired of her he better not throw her to me cause ima tell him that ain't my problem"
"See kids like Kemoni is exactly why I can hold off on having a baby. I think I'm auntie material anyways" liyah said with a shrug
"Nah you and baby joe just playing it safe" I replied "I'll give y'all another year or two"
"By then you and Kentrell probably gone be on baby number five" liyah rebutted and I frowned
"Fuck you bitch"
Everybody burst out laughing including Kemoni
"I already told Kentrell Nasir is our last one. His pregnancy was the most emotional for me and labor was 5 times worse"
"And he still came out small. I'm surprised he didn't slide right on out"
"That big ol head of his. Looking just like Kentrell. Both of em"
I looked at Kemoni and she was busy talking to herself while she tore eggs apart and shoved a piece in her mouth
"I'm glad she was sleep when they left this morning cause she would've threw a while fit seeing Kentrell leave" Elena said while she ran her and through Kemoni's hair
"I know.... it sucks being the only girl too. One of y'all give my baby a girl to play with"
"I'm one and done" Jamie threw her hands up and I rolled my eyes. Liyah shook her head
"Don't even think about asking me. I'm on birth control and mine actually works"
"Fuck you" I responded
Kayla laughed "give me another year. I want a little girl but Micah gotta be in school first. I just can't see how you and Kentrell had em so close together like that"
"It wasn't planned. Trust me. But I don't regret having either of my babies at all"
"And you really don't look like you had two kids honestly" indiya told me and I laughed some
"Girl just wait till I get rid of this lil stomach. That's why I'm glad I had Nasir in the fall/winter season so I can be snatched by summer and watch, a bitch ain't gone ever have on clothes"
"And a bitch gone be 6 feet under too" Elena immediately responded "you know Kentrell would kill you so cut it. You remember he threw a whole fit cause your skirt was too tight"
"Ain nobody worried bout Kentrell. I'm grown as fuck so I do what I want"
My phone started ringing so I walked over to the other counter where it sat and looked to see who was calling
"Oouuu, it's Oya" I smiled as I answered the phone "hey stranger"
"Girl I feel so terrible right now. I wish I could've came over there with y'all"
"Me too. I know Kemoni would've been happy to see you"
"That's my girl. Where she at anyways?"
"Right here playing with her food" I looked at Kemoni and she was busy slamming her hands down in her food again. I could hear the door open and a bunch of voices filled the house as Kentrell and the guys came back.
"DA!" Kemoni yelled with a smile and I rolled my eyes as Elena helped her from her high chair and wiped her face and hands clean. Just as Kentrell came around the corner holding Nasir her eyes lit up and mine did too when I saw he had a fresh haircut
"Hold on Oya. Ima have to call you back" I told her while I looked at Kentrell
"Alright then" she responded then hung up the phone and I sat mine down before placing my hand on my hip and sat the other one on the counter, just looking at him.
"Damn daddy you fine as shit" I told him and he started smirking wile walking over to me. I repeatedly kissed him then grabbed Nasir while he picked Kemoni up who was standing at his leg.
"Hey mommas baby boy" I kissed his cheek and he started smiling
"Look momma" Micah ran into the kitchen with a fresh line up as well and Kayla smiled "I look good"
"Yes you do. My baby's growing up"
"No. I'm not no baby. I'm big" Micah corrected her and Kentrell laughed. Kayla looked at Micah some type of way and he shrugged before running off
"Dup slime!" I could hear Bryson yell from the other room and I shook my head while Jamie sighed
"They already broke my baby" Kayla mumbled and I looked at her
"Welcome to the club"
"We should've got Nasir shit lined up while we was at the barbershop too" baby joe said while he walked into the kitchen and I frowned
"No y'all shouldn't have. All of y'all would've got beat the fuck up too"
"Aye Jamie I heard yo best friend bout to have her baby" Kd told Jamie with a grin and she rolled her eyes
"I really don't like you. That girl ain't shit to me"
"Who?" Elena asked tryina to be nosey
"Daejah"
Elena laughed and picked up her phone "Wow"
"Well I'm a more relevant topic, when y'all gone start wedding planning?" Kayla asked Kentrell and I and he looked confused
"For what?"
Lord bless it" I muttered and Elena shook her head
"Billions of people in this world, and this is who my sister ends up with"
"Shut up." Kentrell slapped Elena upside the head and Kemoni laughed, reaching down to do the same
"Well you the dumbass asking what y'all wedding planning for"
"I wasn't paying attention"
"Obviously" she mumbled while standing up and Kentrell playfully pushed her while she tried to walk off
