It was five days left until Christmas and Kentrell still wanted to go out and do even more Christmas shopping for Kemoni than he already had
"Dadaaaa!" Kemoni yelled while she slapped her hands down on the handle bar of the shopping cart, sitting in the seat part as I pushed her around and Kentrell held Nasir with a blanket over him while we walked around Walmart. I pushed the cart down the toy isle and kemoni's eyes damn near lit up
"We should've left her with Lena"
"Ain leaving my baby nowhere" Kentrell muttered as the blanket over Nasir started moving. Kentrell uncovered him from under the blanket and his hat was falling off so Kentrell fixed it
"His hair getting like yours and ion like that"
Kentrell looked at me with his lip twisted up "ain shit wrong with my hair"
"Your hair is nappy as hell. Let's not pretend we both don't know that"
"Ain shit wrong with my head. And you should've known that was gone happen. This my son"
"Well Kemoni got my hair" I ran my hands through her hair and surprisingly she let me. "I need to go get her some pull ups and Nasir some more diapers and stuff"
"Well let's go over there and get that shit first then."
I turned the buggy around, doing a quick u turn which made Kemoni laugh, and headed to the baby section. Once we got there I went straight to the diapers and Kentrell stopped me as I was about to reach for a pack of pull-ups
"Why you gone get that lil 12 pack? Get that instead" he pointed to the ones a little bit down the way and I shook my head
"Remember last time you told me to get them she peed straight through that damn thing. I'll just get a couple packs of these. I'll turn out cheaper anyways" I grabbed about 4 packs and tossed them in the cart as Nasir started crying. "What's wrong mommas baby boy?"
I walked over to Kentrell as he stuck the pacifier in Nasir's mouth, getting him quiet so he just looked around while sucking on it
"He probably hungry"
"You put a bottle in his diaper bag?"
"Nah..." he responded and I looked at him
When I saw that he wore a sarcastic look on his face I rolled my eyes and reached inside the diaper bag which was in the shopping cart as well and grabbed one of his premade bottles
"Girl fuck him, he ain't gotta do a damn thing for my son" a familiar voice said as two people turned on the isle we were on. When I looked, I saw that it was Daejah who was extremely pregnant and Ariel, a girl I remembered from high school that also used to date Kentrell that didn't like me.
They both looked from Kentrell and I then over at Kemoni and Nasir. I just handed Kentrell the bottle and went back to what I was doing, grabbing Nasir a pack of diapers and put them at the bottom of the cart while Kentrell started to feed him
"We can just come back and get the diapers last" Ariel told Daejah and I shook my head
"Nah y'all good. We done" I told her before pulling the cart back some and Daejah just looked at me then finally looked away as we exited the isle
"I thought they broke up" I could hear Ariel say as we walked off and I laughed while pushing the cart.
"We need to go by the mall so we can get my boy some more clothes"
"I wanna get him some more of those sleepers from children's place"
Kentrell nodded "Ight then. You can go get that while I go run to the jewelry store on the other side of the mall"
"Whatchu gotta run to the jewelry store for?"
"To mind my business. Why?"
I rolled my eyes and nodded
"Okay then. Fuck you too then. Ugly ass bitch" I muttered the last part and Kentrell laughed, looking up from Nasir
"Oh you mad now?"
"I'm great over here boo"
"No you ain't. Witcho mad ass"
"How about you kiss my mad ass you dumb hoe"I retorted while pushing the cart in another direction, walking off from him while he continued to laugh
