chapter 23

maru arrived to the camp with his friends after 10pm... walking to the room remembering how the faith gathered him with eunsae without prior arrangement...and when he saw ray he greeted him and asked him about the camp in his absence... ray looked at him and felt that there is anger and sadness in his chest that maru hiding it from him he didn't say anything but he told him about the camp to relief him... then he went to the kitchen to prepare some coffee while maru changed his clothes... ray's voice was alittle bit far while murmuring asking the commander:

-"how was the wedding?"

maru finished changing his clothes and went to where ray was and sat on a chair waiting the coffee... the tiredness was clear on him... but that didn't stop him from smiling his sly one saying:

-"good... there's someone said hi to you"

-"really!"

ray looked confused at maru like he's waiting the answer...

-"yes... it's your friend eunsae"

-"did you see her?"

ray was looking at maru in happiness and surprise face waiting to know what happened at the wedding...

while maru was closing his eyes giving up to the quiteness doesn't want to talk anymore... except that ray kept pushing him until he said:

-"she's fine... we didn't speak... but the way i saw her she's fine"

-"maru how did you see her? happy, sad..."

-"her uncle hugging her and kangjun doesn't stop flirting with her... while she's spreading her poison words to me"

ray giggled from maru's words while he gave him his cup of coffee saying:

-"is that what bothering you my friend?"

maru sighed sadly when he thought about the thing that he will do and nobody know about it and what would they do if they knew specialy eunsae... he end the conversation about eunsae with his silence but he kept thinking about those stares she gave him that didn't let him sleep...

it was now 11pm when eunsae was holding a cup of hot coffee... while her uncle sitting beside her and he felt that she's not ok and feeling alittle bit narrow... rome tried to change the atmosphere of sadness around her saying:

-"that's why you were avoiding the talk about the commander..."

eunsae's lips started to shake in sadness like she wanted to cry... but her uncle and his questions didn't let her rest for a moment.. she wanted to feel the quiteness and relief just for a minute... she put the cup on the the table... and wiped those prisinor tears from her eyes and said:

-"why would i avoid talking about him?"

rome knew that eunsae was hiding alot of truth from him... so he straighten in his sit and looked at her saying:

-"who saw you today when you both met knew and was sure that you are lovers... because you forget yourselves looking at each other like each one of you see an angel infront of him...and what made more confused... that you changed it from love moments to anger moments so you drop your harsh words on him as if he's not your commander..."

eunsae smiled and gave up to the conversation with her uncle saying:

-"uncle do you know that the light that the universe start with it which change our life and transfer us from the childness while we born innocent and the days don't have in it except one taste... which is the happiness... in the youth and love... that light is the commander... who made different beautiful colours for the universe... even though he has roughness,sharpness and toughness in treating people but i fell fully in love with him... when i left the camp... i was angry,sad... i didn't emagine myself away from him for a minute... and i'm tired and still... and i know i won't rest except in his arms and infront of his eyes... but i'm afraid that something will happen and stop my happiness..."

eunsae was speaking with sad and love voice... in every word she was hiding a tear... and her uncle was looking at her and felt her happiness from the inside even though she's sad from the outside... although she's far from the one she love... but her missing to him helped her to stay calm until the days end so she can get back to the camp again...

the paleness was clear on maru's face while he's laying on his bed before 8pm... that wasn't him... because he didn't ever go to bed before 12am... he didn't say anything but he liked to go to sleep and rest but ray who felt worried sat beside him and said:

-"maru... are you exusted?"

maru nodded while the pain was controling him... and that made ray more worried so he said:

-"do you want me to bring the doctor?"

maru smiled in pain and held his friend hand to relief him saying:

-"no my friend... i'm fine... i just feel alittle bit tired..."

-"let me bring you the doctor..."

-"there is no need i just need some rest and i'll be ok..."

maru was trying to convince himself in his illness and that what ray felt who stand to think what to do... he went to the window to hide some sadness in his eyes about his friend... alittle minutes passed before maru raises his head to ray and say:

-"ray i want to tell you something..."

ray went to maru quickly and sat on his bed looking straight to his eyes waiting what he wanted to say... he continued saying:

-"maybe tomorrow i will take a vacation to rest alittle bit... but promise me that you will trust me until the end..."

maru's words were strange... ray wasn't happy for it... because this is the first time maru speak about vacation and trust and something else... he didn't understand anything... the confused look was clear when he said:

-"maru... i don't understand anything from what you said..."

-"ray my friend... i don't want you to get mad at me what ever will happen..."

-"what would happen?"

maru stared like he's looking at something then said:

-"you will know in the right time"

maru ended his words when he cover his face and slept deeply...
