"will you just admit that you're in love with jonah?" corbyn says.

"nope," you reply. "cause i'm not."

"don't be difficult, y/n."

"i'm not being difficult, corbyn, i'm just stating the truth."

you bite your lip, hoping he believes you, or at least just goes along with what you're saying.

"okay, although i don't believe you for one second, will you at least drop this whole enemies thing with him?"

"i have! we've been civil," you argue.

"sure, i'll admit it's been a lot better than it used to be, but there's still lot of arguing between the two of you," corbyn points out.

"if i try harder to stop the arguing, will you hop off my dick?" you ask.

corbyn rolls his eyes.

"yes, i will. it'll make the other boys happy too."

"fine, then i'll try harder."

you walk into the kitchen to grab some water, but stop when you see jonah.

he turns around at the sound of your footsteps.

"hey," he says.

"hey," you reply.

it's silent for a couple moments as you think about what to say.

"i thought you went with the guys to get dinner," you finally say.

"nah, decided to skip tonight. i was working on writing a song and got really in the zone," jonah answers.

you nod.

"i thought you were going to go to dinner too," jonah says.

"decided to skip too, haven't been feeling that great today," you explain. "corbyn's letting me chill in his room."

jonah nods.

the two of you stand in an awkward silence.

"well, i'm just gonna grab some water and head back upstairs, then," you say.

you fill up your glass, taking a sip.

"y/n?" jonah says as you're about to leave the kitchen.

you turn around to look at him.

"yeah?" you reply.

"um, nothing, nevermind."

"okay."

you walk back up the stairs to corbyn's room, wondered what jonah was going to say.

meanwhile, jonah stands in the kitchen, wishing he went through with what he wanted to say.
