as you run through the woods, the last of the light slowly fading away, you think to myself "why did i agree to this?"

zach had convinced you and the other boys to play hide and seek in the woods.

at night.

and of course, you are freaked out.

you decide to quit playing the game, and just run and try to find zach, are at least one of the boys.

oh, and another thing.

zach made you all leave your phones with logan, who is sitting on a bench with his brother, jake, getting vlog content.

"fuck you, zach," you say to yourself.

you keep running through the woods, and see a head of brown hair.

you look at what they're wearing, and figure out it's jonah, who is the seeker.

"jonah!" you yell, running up to him.

he turns around.

"y/n, what are you doing?" he asks.

you get to him, and cling to his side.

"i can't do this, bro. i am totally freaked. have you found zach?"

"no, i haven't. it's okay, though. you're totally fine. do you want to stay with me? you can help me find the others."

you nod.

"alright, let's go!"

the two of you walk around for awhile, but don't find anyone.

right as you're about to turn around to walk a different way, you and jonah hear a rustle in the bushes.

you look in the bushes, and find jack.

"hey, jack. what's up?" jonah laughs.

the three of you continue searching, and find corbyn and daniel.

"now, we just have to find zach," daniel says.

you five search and search, and eventually come up to a tree.

you look up, and see zach looking down at you.

he smiles, and relief fills your body.

"zach!" you yell.

the other four look up, and spot zach.

"alright, zach wins," jonah says, laughing.

zach climbs down from the tree.

you move away from jonah, and jump up on zach, wrapping your arms around him tightly.

"can we please go home?" you ask.

"why? what's wrong? are you hurt? what happened?" zach asks, worried.

"i'm fine, i'm just scared," you reply. "it's so dark, i didn't like being in there alone, so i found jonah."

zach laughs slightly.

"it's okay. i'm here, you're fine," he says.
