Byleif by himself could sink or swim his craft
Strong was he like the eagle king of the heavens
My power now reaches the top of the sky
And now to get that fishing done!
He flew and spoke with the birds themselves
Tis very useful indeed
I am now truly a wise man
To find the next island fair
Volcanic was the next island
Stay back or else we will open fire!
Byleif wailed for aid
Give me the head of the intruder!
They both knew the island would blow
In battle me and the king of hares shall meet!
The vow of Byleif necessitated a fight
Glory shall fall on me when I defeat the strong one!
Byleif fought til the rocks burst
The island blew and the fire spew
It was muchly harsh to flee
At their heels were the spewed molten rock
Who was the best? Unknown!
They were likely to lose their heads
The wood was burning as the fire spread
It was though to get ahead
Calypso the most beautiful of dryads
Perfect in all her spheres and circles
With a temper to match, so confident
Byleif saves himself for the Guard of the Rainbow Tower
His brother had sown these wild oats
A Timer to make the years pass in time
Byleif interests lay not in that direction
He only served the king that was himself
Byleif prepared for the onward journey
While the island wept for him
A map presented to keep him at the bay
So that his bodily treasure was not lost
The haul of the pirate Le B Orn
Was lost to the sea and his heirs
Left the map with his Lady dear
But he died without ship or sail
Handsomely did Byleif read the map
It seemed to be locked by magic
And so he swiftly set forth
The first island was well within his grasp
Gold can be exchanged for fish here
And wonderous salt by the barrel
Wisdom builds a forever-kingdom
Tis the plan of Byleif the Blitzer
Treading, tricking
Over the map deliberating
Byleif doodled on his chart
For to go and find the treasure
Long journey, dangerous journey
O'er the billowing seas
To find the bed of dragons
And from there build an empire
Sailing, seeing, the island with the towering head
Hurt my frick on the side of the boat
Bereaved Byleif lifted the fearing fruitful ground
The island of the watchtower was host to a secret
Digging, snuggling, Byleif ran for the gold
The same threads in the beginning
Stopped when something whoosed past, both stopped
Under the mouth of the guardian the two met
Byleif had luck for the time being
But the one before was greater was in stature
King of hares saw the Owl and mask
She is held as the queen of Bjarmaland
Went out the tunnel, Byleif's regret was great
Wished he had his Brother's trickery
He needs fish, gold, warriors for his kingdom to match
Rabbit left the depths now to further his luck
Why must Byleif be washed in water?
Why is the sea surrounded by steel?
Why cannot he get to where the fish is at?
And why is the road to glory shut?
The sea has a washing day of its own
Here begins the jotun outpost
His adventure has not yet reached its peak
Fate was written by the norns long ago
