miyeon giggled, grabbing soyeon's hand, "come, let's go to class."

"soojin's gonna be late," the younger laughed, "it's okay! she's with her boyfriend."

the two girls left the hallway to go upstairs, as it started to clear out more the closer it got to the bell ringing. soojin pulled away from mingyu, "i'm sorry for pushing you away, and not giving you any communication."

"it's okay, i'm not upset with you." mingyu responded, smiling at the girl, "i understand how hard it must be getting adjusted to liking someone again, so i don't mind."

"whoever said i liked you?" soojin crossed her arms, sassing mingyu.

"you look at me the way hyunsoo looks at his dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets." mingyu laughed, "seeing the way hyunsoo look at his chicken nuggets is so cute, and you both give the same look when you really like something."

"well, it's not like i can disagree." soojin's voice became soft, "but i don't think anything could compare to the way hyunsoo looks at his dinosaur nuggets."

"hyunsoo is so adorable." the elder boy smiled, "i miss him."

"well, if you miss him so much, why don't you come over after school? he misses you too" soojin suggested, "for hyunsoo, though! not because another person in the household might miss you, but for hyunsoo strictly."

mingyu nodded his head, "of course, strictly for hyunsoo." mingyu paused, "unless someone else wants to tell me they've missed me."

"nope." soojin shook her head, opening her locker and taking her books out, "just hyunsoo." the girl then turned around, realizing the halls were practically empty, "did— did the bell ring?"

mingyu pulled out his phone, looking at the time, "it's going to ring in two minutes."

"shit." soojin cursed as she closed her locker and locked it, "my class is all the way upstairs."

"we better go so we don't become late, huh?" mingyu smiled at the girl, who gave him a confused look.

"if you walk me to class, you're going to be late." soojin pointed out, "my class is upstairs, yours is in this hallway."

the elder shrugged, getting off of the locker he was leaning against and held soojin's free hand, as he walked her to her class.

"mingyu, you're going to be late." soojin whined while they walked, "and then you'll be in trouble because of me and it'll be my fault and—"

"it's okay, soojin." mingyu cut the girl off, "if being late means i get to spend more time with my girl, then i'm completely fine with that."

the girl slightly pouted at mingyu's response, but also felt the urge to smile. "you better not pull this again, because your ass has to be in class learning." soojin scolded.

"i like learning about you more." the boy smiled, as he stopped in front of the girl's class, "i guess next time we have to leave a little earlier."

soojin rolled her eyes, letting go off mingyu's hand, "you better go get your ass to class right now."

mingyu nodded his head, kissing soojin's forehead, "i'll see you after classes."

"see you." soojin softly smiled before walking into class and sitting by her two friends that were watching her and mingyu interact earlier.

once mingyu saw soojin was settled in class, he left the outside of the classroom and headed towards the stairs. while mingyu was walking, the bell rang, signaling he was late to class. the boy shrugged it off, not caring as he continued his way to class.
