Making the video was easy. Watching Bethany had taught me enough about YouTube and editing to make a good one. Being selected by Bethany though? Wow. Maybe it was my editing skills, or using some of her little tricks in my filming, or even the fact that my name, Winnie, is her dog's name. But I had been picked, and that's that. My dad had driven me, we lived the closest to the house of any of the contestants. I wouldn't see my family for a month, except for my dog, of course. A single pet of our choice were allowed to join us in the middle of the month, the writers knew they couldn't keep teens away from their pets for too long. Even though I'd have to leave my family for a while, at least I had a family. Even though I came from the homeless shelter, at least I had some people who loved me.
