The rain did eventually storm down on everyone that day, it was a cold shiver to it, therefore the girls put on their raincoats and headed to the swimming pool, to investigate their theory.
Y/n and max dropped their bikes outside whilst citizens ran away from the building in their swimsuits, towards theirs cars, towels above their heads, the three girls walked towards the reception where two employees sat staring at magizines.
"Excuse me," max called.
"No-one in the pool until 30 minutes after the last strike and don't try and argue with me," the boy spoke, not looking up. "if you want to get electrocuted go climb a tree," he announced, flicking a page, they furrowed their brows at his response.
"No we don't care we're not here to swim," max announced, her hands against the counter.
"Or get electrocuted," y/n added.
"We found this," eleven spoke, holding up a lifeguard fanny pack and the boy finally looked up.
"Does it belong to anybody?" Max questioned, and the three watched him smirk.
"Oh yeah,That's heathers," he told the girls, looking back to his magizine, the girl sitting beside her sipped at her juice box. "I'll give it back to her" he said.
"We could give it back to her," el spoke up and the boy looked up at her again.
"You could, 'cept she's not here, bailed on me today," the three girls exchanged glances. "What is this? You girls want a reward or something?" He questioned, furrowing his brows.
"No," y/n replied, most definitely not taking that boys shit.
"We just...good Samaritans," max added, with a smile, the girl copied to which they scrunched up their nose at. Both girls looked over their shoulder seeing eleven walking over to the 'meet your new lifeguards '85!' Board where they saw Billy's photo including Heather.
"Heather," max spoke. el, who looked towards the photo of Heather longingly. "do you think you can find her?" She asked eleven, Max and y/n watched as she turned back to the teenage lifeguards, and ripped the photo away from the board, and the girls sped walked towards the showers.
