CHAPTER 3.

AIKO'S POV

~ WEDNESDAY, 8 AM.~

Nasa sala ako ng bahay dahil sa nasa trabaho si Mike ngayon. Nakita kong tumatakbo kung saan-saan sila Shaky at hindi ko sila pinansin.

Hawak ko ang phone ko at ka-chat sila Mica ngayon na nasa Pilipinas at nag-aalala dahil sa nalaman nila ang sitwasyon.

Aiko's Protection Squad.

Mica
Ayos ka lang ba, Silence? Kamusta ka ngayon?

Anthon
Anong balita sa tatay mo, Aiko?

Anthony
Buti naman at naka-alis agad kayo ng boyfriend mo kundi baka nakuha ka na ng tatay mo.

Aiko
Ayos lang naman ako Mica.
Nakulong na si daddy ayon sa sinabi sa'kin ni kuya Nero, Anthon.
Sinabihan agad kami nila Zero eh. Kaya nakatakas pa kami.

Ganito ang gawain ko lagi simula nang napunta kami ni Mike dito. Wala naman kasi akong magawa dito kaya ganito ang ginagawa ko lagi.

Mica
Anong ginagawa mo ngayon? Hindi ka ba nabo-bored diyan?

Aiko
Naka-upo lang ako sa sofa at nagcha-chat sa inyo. Medyo bored pero wala naman akong magagawa dahil wala naman akong trabaho dito.

Anthon
Bakit hindi mo sabihan ang boyfriend mo?

Aiko
Hindi ko masabi sa kaniya kasi busy siya. Ayoko namang maging pabigat sa kaniya.

Anthony
Subukan mo kaya? Maiintindihan naman niya eh.

Magre-reply pa sana ako nang biglang may nag doorbell sa labas. Kaya naman binitiwan ko 'yung phone ko at tumayo.

Naglakad ako palabas ng bahay para makita kung sino 'yung nag doorbell at may nakita akong isang lalaki na naka suit and tie.

Para siyang isang respetadong tao ah. Naglakad ako palapit sa kaniya at nakita kong kumunot ang noo niya sa'kin.

"Ahm... Hi? Is Pain home?" Kunot noo niyang tanong sa'kin. Baka kaibigan siya ni Mike dito sa Canada.

"I'm sorry but he's not home. He's at work right now." Sagot ko naman at napabuntong hininga siya.

"That jerk didn't even tell me that he's at work." Rinig kong bulong niya. Napatingin ulit siya sa direksyon ko.

"Thank you for telling me. I'm going to the office now." Sabi niya at sumakay na siya sa loob ng sasakyan niya at pina-andar 'yon.

Naglakad na ko papasok ng bahay at naglinis na lang ng bahay. Pinakain ko ang mga alagang aso namin ni Mike.

Napabuntong hininga ako at napa-isip. Okay lang kaya sila mommy doon sa Pilipinas? Kamusta kaya silang lahat doon?

Naglakad na lang ako papunta sa kitchen at nagluto dahil malapit na rin namang magtanghali para makakain na rin ako.

Kamusta kaya si Mike doon? Kumain na kaya siya? Sana naman hindi magpagutom 'yon kundi talagang se-sermonan ko siya.

~ 5:50 PM. ~

PAIN'S POV

We're now on our way to our home with Aldea annoying me on the way. I really hate my cousins right now for annoying me.

"Mike, may natawag sa phone mo." Aldea said while looking at my phone that has been hanging on the phone case. I answered the call.

"Little brother? How are you?" He asked. It's Nero and I think he's only worried about us that's why he called.

"I'm fine. We're both fine. Don't worry. How are you?" I answered him. I stopped the car because of the red light from the stoplight.

"We're fine but we have a problem. That bastard has his own connections to the government. They are now planning to let him out from prison." - Nero.

"Fuck?! Seriously? Damn. If they let him out, I know that he's going to target my dear Silendence again." I said, annoyed.

"I know that. Most especially that he already sold her to a political family in the Philippines." I step on the breaks because of what he said.

"WHAT?!" I shouted. Aldea was shocked when she heard me shout. She even threw her phone upwards because of that.

"Wh-wh-what happened?" She asked, confused. "Who's with you? One of the Aldous?" Nero asked when he heard Aldea.

"Hello kuya. Aldea 'to." Aldea said and wave her hand through the phone even though he won't see her.

"Hello, Ms. Aldous." Nero greeted her back. "What's the plan now?" I start the car again to go home.

"We're still going to watch from the shadows. Just wait for our news, little brother. Take care of my little sister. I have to go. Be careful." He said.

"Before I forgot something, please ask my little sister if she wants to manage my restaurant there." He said.

"Okay. I'll ask her then I'll tell you about her decision." I answered him. "Thank you. That restaurant really needs someone to be managed correctly. I trust my little sister about that." He said then he hangs up.

"Anong plano mo ngayon, Mike?" Aldea asked me while using her phone. I didn't answer her because even me, I don't know.

"Bakit kasi hindi niyo na lang siyang patayin diba? Atleast wala na kayong problema pa." She suggested.

"Mom doesn't want that and I didn't even know why." I answered her. She sighed and leaned on the window.

"I'm going to tell grandma Alena about this. I know that she needs to know this." She said and I already saw my house.

"And I know that she's going to kill him now." She said again then I parked the car. We went out of the car.

"If you really want to save your fiancé, it's either you have kill them or let those bastards to take her away from you." She said then we went out way to my home.
