(Tyler's POV)

I immediately saw Lucas looming over me. I almost flinched away again, but the next thing I saw was someone's arm around his throat, holding him back, and another arm seizing his hand holding the blade.

Josh quickly took the knife out of Lucas' hand and tossed it aside. He pulled Lucas back to the chair Josh was previously sitting on, let go of him, and quickly shoved Lucas onto the chair, tying up his hands. Soon, Lucas was bound to the chair tighter than Josh was a minute ago.

Josh quickly ran to me and ripped off the duck tape over his mouth, pulled my shirt back down, and carefully untied my arms and legs, which slightly had rope burn. He made sure to avoid the cuts on my wrists as he did so. I glanced at his arms, which were blood red from rope burn.

I suddenly became a little dizzy, feeling the pain shoot through my wrists. Apparently this was obvious to Josh, as he quickly glanced around and then ripped off the sleeves of his shirt, tying the cloth around my wrists to hopefully slow the bleeding.

Throughout all of this, I was silently sobbing, and Josh acknowledged this before doing anything else. Once my arms were taken care of, he kneeled next to me and rested his hand over my shaky hand, looking up at me with a soft expression.

"Hey, it's okay. You're gonna be okay, alright? Once we're done here, we're gonna get you to a hospital just so we can make sure you're safe. Alright?" Josh sounded kind and gentle as he spoke, softly squeezing my hand after I held his.

"O-okay...." I managed out, biting my lip to try and quiet myself, gazing into Josh's eyes for comfort to calm myself.

"Hey flower girl and his emo boy-toy. Forget I'm still here? If I'm gonna be tied up, I'd at least like to request a room where I don't have to watch you two make out." Lucas grumbled, rolling his eyes.

"Come on, Tyler. We gotta get you to a hospital." Josh ignored Lucas and stood up with me, helping support me.

While Josh was clearing the doors, he called the police, telling them about Lucas and our location. He also requested for them to bring an ambulance for me. Once he hung up the phone, he carefully grabbed my hand and lead me outside of the room.

The nurse stood there angrily, most likely thinking we pulled a stupid prank. Josh stared at her dead in the eyes and showed her my wrists, then pointed inside the room. Both the teacher and I looked inside to see Lucas reaching for the blood-stained knife on the ground. The nurse looked back at Josh with a shocked look and pointed between Lucas, the knife, and me. Josh took a deep breath and nodded, immediately making the nurse storm into her office, clearly angry with Lucas.

While we waited for the ambulance to arrive, Josh lead me to a couple chairs in the office, sitting us both down. Thankfully, Josh had calmed me down from my sobbing from earlier, but the sudden silence started the tears in my eyes again. I silently let them roll down my cheek as I rested my head on Josh's shoulder for comfort.

"It's okay, Ty. He can't hurt you anymore. And I'm never gonna let someone hurt you again." Josh spoke confidently, lightly pressing his head against mine. I silently moved my shaky hand out and grabbed Josh's. He smiled and laced his fingers with mine, softly stroking my hand with his thumb. "It's okay, buddy, I'm here. I got you." Josh comforted me, refusing to move for any reason.

We sat in silence like that until the police and the ambulance arrived. Once they did, I nearly had a nervous breakdown, but Josh kept a firm grasp on my hand. He helped me calm my breathing as they took me into the ambulance and the police entered the nurse's room.

Lucas was trying to escape his binds as the police went into the room and immediately handcuffed him. He tried struggling and escaping, but after he managed to punch one of the officers, another one tased him. After doing so, the police locked the hand cuffs and took him to the car.

After a few minutes, Josh let go of my hand and walked away, making me start to panic again. Where's Josh going? I can't be here alone. What do I do!? I need Josh, I can't sit here alone in silence! I started shaking again as my breathing quickened. Yøu idiøt. Yøu thøught Jøsh was gøing tø cøme with yøu. Høw stupid dø yøu have tø be tø believe that? He has better things tø dø than gø tø the høspital with sømeøne like yøu. Tears rapidly started building in my eyes as I was starting to believe Blurryface, until Josh quickly came back inside. He moved next to me and grabbed my hand again, gently running a hand through my hair.

"Shhh, hey, it's okay. I'm right here. Don't worry, Ty, I'm here." Josh whispered, wiping a tear off my cheek. I looked up at him with wide, tearful eyes, trying to slow my breathing.

"W-where'd you go?" I stuttered, trying not to cry for hundredth time today. I sniffed and held back my tears, exhaling unsteadily.

"I just had to leave for a minute to talk to the police, I'm sorry. But I'm back, you're gonna be okay." Josh quickly comforted me, realizing just how panicked I was.

Soon enough, the ambulance started moving, taking us to the hospital. I was so nervous, I would've chewed off all my nails if I even had any long enough to do so. So instead, I held tightly onto to Josh's hand as he stood right next to me, whispering comforting things to me when he noticed I got more anxious.

"Josh.... I- I'm scared...." I mumbled quietly after a few minutes.

"It's gonna be okay, they're just gonna patch you up a bit, but I'll be here with you the whole time. It's gonna be alright, try not to worry so m-" Josh was calmly trying to help me, but I cut him off as my nerves got the best of me.

"No, Josh, i-it's not that, I just- the last time I went to the hospital was because.... because I...." I looked down at my stomach as tears built up in my eyes. I couldn't say it.

"I know, I know, it's okay. Shhh, it's okay, Tyler." Josh whispered softly as he leaned down and hugged me. I buried my face in his chest and listened to his breathing, matching mine with his. "It's alright, there's nothing to be afraid of. I'm here, I've got you, and you're safe now. And you're not going to the hospital because of that, it's okay. I promise I'll stay with you the whole time and I'll keep you company." Josh comforted me while rubbing my back, getting me to calm down.

The rest of the trip to the hospital was pretty much the same. I held Josh's hand, I got nervous because I was thinking too much, he comforted me and calmed me down, and repeat. At this rate, I expected Josh to get annoyed with me, but he never once got mad or lost his temper with me, he just kept reassuring me that I'm okay.

After what felt like hours of this cycle, we made it to the hospital. Just the familiar sight of the same hospital I knew all too well made my stomach churn. I got nervous again and urgently looked to Josh for comfort, who squeezed my hand and smiled softly at me. Looking into his eyes for a moment, I took a deep breath and tried to relax.

Soon, I was in the hospital, unfortunately being separated from Josh so the doctors could help me. The minute he let go of my hand, the weight of what happened fell onto my shoulders and shot my anxiety and nerves through the roof.
