A swirling storm of light and wonder was all she knew as she stepped into the knee-tall grass as the moon shone down on her simple figure, rounded and full with its strange glow.

The air was a buzz with the heat of summer, but the wind felt crisp and cool to the touch.

The fireflies twinkled and sparked, and as she chased them, she laughed and howled with a grin ever present on her face.

She was enjoying life, and life was enjoying the appreciation for its show.

These were some of the best times she knew, and no matter what else was thrown at her, she merely shrugged it off to dance in the dark with the stars as her guide.

It was a good life.
