It was silent.
The wind whistled around me while the air desolately covered my defects.
As I powered through the storm, the leaves lay dispatched on the pathway.
Where did they lead?
I felt abandoned, forsaken to rot alongside the colossal clutter of fallen nature.
I placed my soul in the hands of the people I trusted, only to have it crushed by the negligence of society.
I became lost in the reflections of my doubts, visible to all in the lake of my tears.
I continued walking as the sun shone strenuously, blinding my vision.
Where would I go from here?
Incapable and alone, I didn't have anything to lose.
The firm fragrance of spring blossoms awaited me as I made my way through my adversities.
The sunkissed sky concealed the shadows which constrained me.
I could pursue anything I wanted.
Nothing could interfere with my plans.
I may have been ostracized by everyone I knew, yet that didn't matter anymore.
Within nature, I sensed
Comfort.
