Isabella Marie Swan is an alpha. An alpha to a pack of shapeshifters. Some of them are wolves, and some of them are different? Yes, different is a good word for it. And now, they've all decided to move from Phoenix, Arizona to Forks, Washington for...
Next, we have his brother Nicolas Montgomery, but everyone just calls him Nic. He was a vampire as well, and though he was around 50-something years old, he didn't look any older than 16 or 17. Despite being one of youngest looking ones in the pack, he was the most mature and the most intelligent. He was the smartest person I had ever met. Sometimes, I felt he knew just about everything. It probably helped that he read a lot. I mean, what else is one supposed to do when they don't sleep? Nic had the gift of manipulation. He could make anyone do what he wanted to with just a few words. It came in handy when one of us get into trouble. He had more control than Jason, especially when it came to his bloodlust. Though sometimes, there are slip-ups. He spent most of his time hanging around Angel or Beau, since and he Beau are the best of friends.
And finally, we had our little Victoria Adams, aka Tori. She was a snow leopard shifter. She was the shortest in the pack, but don't let her size fool you. She was a mighty little thing. She's the second youngest, only 16 years old. A few months older than Beau. She was the fashionista of the pack, always helping us with our style and keeping us up to date on the latest trends. Despite all of that, she was also a total badass. She may be small, but she could easily take down a man twice her size. She did once, in a bar when us girls went out for a night of fun. She was Kat's best friend and Beau imprint, and the pack's little sister. Everyone was fiercely protective of her. She had us all wrapped around her little finger, and she knew it. She used it to her advantage quite a few times.
And that was my pack, my family. Currently we were all in a small town called Forks in Washington. We would be attending the local high school there in order to try and live normal lives. We chose this town in hopes that there would be no supernaturals, and that we could live in peace at least for a few years.
Angel, Jason, Kat and I would be seniors and Nic, Beau, and Tori would be Juniors. The perfect years for us seeing as we would be able to stay here for at least a good two years, or maybe even three.
"Bella! Hurry up! We're gonna be late!" Angel called from downstairs, and I groaned as I pulled on my shirt.
"I'm coming!" I shouted. I turned to look into my mirror, fixing the beanie on my head then the collar of my leather jacket. I figured I looked good enough.

I turned to grab the keys to my truck and my backpack before slipping out of my room, and running down the stairs. Everyone was already gathered in the living room ready to go. They all stood with their respective imprints. Angel was holding Nic's hand, Jason had an arm around Kat's waist, and Beau's arm was thrown lazily over Tori's shoulders.
"Finally," Kat spoke up, rolling her eyes, "I thought we'd have to drag you out of your room by your hair," she huffed as she crossed her arms against her chest.
It was my turn to roll my eyes, "Sorry, some of us like to look good on the first day of school," I snapped back.
Kat scoffed, "Excuse me? I look good. I always look good. Don't I, babe?" She asked Jason, looking up at him.
"Of course you do, love," he said with a playful roll of his golden eyes. Kat huffed and rolled her eyes again.
"Whatever. Can we go now?" Kat questioned.
"Yeah, let's go," I said as I moved towards the door.
"Wait! Bella didn't eat yet!" Tori chimed in, and I just waved my hand dismissively.
"I can survive until lunch, let's just go," I said as I opened the garage door. Everyone instantly followed me out the door. We only had two vehicles. My 1963 Chevy Pickup truck and my brother Beau's blue and black 1980 Jeep CJ-5. They were both old vehicles, but they ran and that was all that mattered.
Tori, Beau, Jason and Kat all climbed into Beau's Jeep, and Angel and Nic climbed into my truck. I started it up, and I took off with Beau following closely after me.
Here it was. Our first day of school. Our first shot at a normal life. So far so good. Let's just hope it stays that way.
