Sapphire - six years old

"H..How much longer do I have to take this, I..I don't have much strength left," I panted.

"We'll stop when you knock me down," the blonde woman responded.

I nodded and ran towards her, ready to strike her down. But it didn't work as she swiftly went behind me and pushed me on the ground.

"Come on Sapphire, get up and knock me down." The woman said, taking a small step backwards.

"B-but, I can't momma," I breathed out. I got up from the fighting mat, I wiped the sweat off my forehead. "I'm not strong enough for this, I don't think I'll ever be strong enough." I whispered softly, looking down at my feet.

"You are strong Sapphire. You may be young, but you have such amazing skills," she said

She bent down so she was at my height and wrapped her arms around my waist, stroking my brown hair. I then put my arms around her neck.

"How about we get some of your favorite ice cream and continue your training tomorrow. Does that sound okay to you darling?" She looked at my face, still stroking my hair softly.

I smiled brightly and nodded eagerly at the sound of ice cream. "But...I don't think I have to train tomorrow."

"What do you mean Sapphire?" she scrunched up her face in confusion.

I smirked as I removed by hands from her neck and tackled her to the ground.

She groaned but then started laughing. "You finally knocked me down!" She laughed for a couple seconds and then got up, pulling me up with her.

"I definitely don't deserve to train tomorrow," I smiled up at her.

"You don't," she began, "now let's get you that ice cream." We began walking to the exit of the training room.

"I love you momma," I said, looking into her bright blue eyes as we walked.

"I love you too darling, never forget that." She smiled down at me.

Sapphire - 14 years old

The dirty blonde girl threw a punch at me.

Or tried to.

She swung at me but missed as I swiftly dodged it by grabbing her fist and threw her across my shoulder.

"Make sure your stance is right, and try to be one step ahead of your opponent," I told her.

She swung another punch at me, and this time it actually hit me.

Right in my stomach.

That hurt

"Is that really all you got" I smirked at my opponent, trying to hide my pain. Honestly she was good, if she trained a bit more, she could really improve her fighting skills. I forgot to ask her name before we began our fight. Her blue eyes glanced behind me, probably looking at the clock on the wall. She ran directly to me with a lunging punch. I caught her hand and took a step to the side. I grabbed her left arm and held it tightly behind her back.

She groaned out in pain. She struggled in her position letting out heavy breaths. "You win! Just please let go of my arm," she pleaded.

I let go of her arm and raised my fist in the air and smiled. She cradled her arm. I looked at her and held up my hand for a handshake. "I can tell that fighting isn't what you're experienced in."

"You're right. I'm honestly better with a weapon in my head." She looked at me, and placed her right hand on mine and shook it firmly.

"You really are one of the best agents here. I guess that's what I should of expected since you are the director's daughter." She said.
