You were seated beside jack and his family waiting for the draft to begin. You were so anxious and you could tell jack was too. You grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze.
"I love you no matter what," you whispered in his ear. He smiled and gave you a quick kiss.
His name gets called and you can't help but let a huge smile spread across your face. Jack hugs his brother and parents while they express how proud they are. He turns to give you a hug.
"I'm so f*cking proud of you baby, I knew you'd go 1st." You say into his ear.
"Couldn't of done it without you," he gives you a cheeky wink.
He heads down to the stage and puts on the jersey that he'll be wearing for countless nights. You were so excited to cheer him on in the NHL. He exits the stage to take all of his interviews and pictures.
"He couldn't of done it without your support," Ellen (jack's mom) says to you.
"Thank you but seriously you're his biggest supporter." You reply.
She gives you a smile and you proceed to wait for the rest of the draft to finish so that you can give jack the reward he deserves. 😉
