Yoongi stayed in the reef as he laid on his rock boredly. He's been blowing little air bubbles for quite a while. The mermaid rolled on his stomach and pouted.
He wasn't sure what he did before he met the humans but they have to be busy above the see. The mint haired boy swam upwards to the surface and his eyes locked on the little cliff.
The mermaid didn't swim there that often from the tide being a bit stronger these past few days and he didn't want to crash into any of the rough rocks. The water didn't seem that strong at the moment and the skys were clear.
Yoongi smiled a bit as he dived back underwater to swim towards the cliff. He could look for some pretty stones for the humans there.
He finally made it over and swam around in the slightly cold water. The mermaid seemed to be enjoying himself before he heard multiple loud splashes. He turned around and to see the rippling of water from a certain area.
Was it a rock that fell from the cliff? The mermaid looked up before hesitatingly moved towards the area. A rock that size couldn't have fallen so easily. A wooden plank rose to the surface, but that couldn't just be it. There were multiple splashes.
Yoongi dived underwater and looked around to see what it was. There was a glimpse of a black cloth that made his eyes wide open. It was a human.
He swam towards the person and wrapped his arms around their waist before pulling them upwards. The mermaid struggled a bit from never carrying a person before but managed to make it to the surface.
The body slumped against his and Yoongi grew worried. Humans weren't able to stay underwater very long, right? The mermaid let out a few noises before looking around to the rocks near the cliff.
The mermaid swam to the rocks and laid the human on the flattest one. He couldn't help but to noticed how attractive the male human was. Yoongi immediately slapped his own cheeks with his hands and tried to think of an idea.
Humans need air to breath, the mermaid made a nervous face before inhaling. He leaned in a bit closer to the human before the brunet coughed on his face.
Yoongi closed his eyes and sunk into the water rubbing his face. The smaller felt a bit disgusted but also relieved that they were moving.
The human must have sat up from the rock judging by the shadows. The mermaid swam a bit lower just in case the other decided to get back into the water.
He was glad that the human was okay, but he was hesitate to reveal himself to the stranger. A small shine was seen below the mermaid as he swam to see what it was.
Yoongi picked up a small rectangle thing in his hand. He adjust his grip on the shape and accident pressed something. A light shined from the rectangle as an image of the human on top was revealed.
So, it belonged to the human. The mermaid bit his lip as he sneakily swam up to the human. He couldn't just give it to him directly or else he's know about him.
The mint haired remembered the plank and swam over to it. He placed the rectangle on the floating piece of wood and gently pushed it over to human when he wasn't looking.
The mermaid swam back underwater and watched it float. He was making sure the rectangle wouldn't fall off and if it did he'd catch it.
The man picked up the phone and looked around the water suspiciously before turning it on to click on a contact number.
"Hey, Jin. Can you pick me up?"

Yoongi still stayed in the area watching the man as he waited patiently. The mermaid wanted to make sure he was okay and didn't notice the clouds in the sky getting darker.
A noise rang across the water gaining the mermaid's attention. He looked over to see a familiar boat and swam around excitedly. Then he remembered the other man that was present with him. The sea creature pouted as he thought before swimming towards the rocks and peaked out of the water from them.
"Geez, how did you even get here? Did you jump off or something?"
"No, the wooden fence broke when I was leaning against it. I guess the waves were rough enough to push me to the rocks over there. Then, my phone mysteriously appeared in front of me. There's some weird shit that happens around this cliff."
Seokjin stayed silent as he look over the edge of the boat. This gained the attention of the other male.
"Are you okay there, buddy?"
"Tae, are you sure you didn't see anything around here?"
"No? Are you trying to scare me?"
Seokjin only shook his head and sighed before pulling the string to get the motor to start.
The mermaid swam away from the rocks while keeping his head slightly over the surface. He watched the humans leave in awe.
Taehyung couldn't help but feel eyes watching the back of his head and turned around to see a pretty male with light green hair. Stars seemed to have dusted underneath his eyes. The human rubbed his eyes and looked again to see nothing but the sea. A frown appeared on his face at the thought of it being just his imagination.
"Something wrong?"
"No, just thought I saw something."

The mermaid looked up at the sky to see the darkened clouds and panicked. He immediately dived underwater and began to quickly swim towards the reef. The sea creature then looked at the boat with the two males on it and bit his lip.
It was more dangerous to be on the surface than underneath it. The mermaid swam below the boat at quite a distance so he wouldn't get hit by the swirling piece of metal. He wanted to make sure they were able to get to the dock safely.
The mint haired mermaid proceeded to follow them towards the docks and sighed in relief which caused little bubbles to float up to the air. The mermaid hesitantly lifted his head above the water and noticed Seokjin looking at him.
The human gave him a smile and turned around to see the other male walking towards a building nearby.
"Thanks for helping him Yoongi. It's a bit rough out in the water right now isn't it? You should know how to deal with it better than me, but be careful alright?"
The mermaid grew confused over the amount of unfamiliar words that came out of the human's mouth. He only smiled and waved pretending he understood.
The sea creature sank back under water and began to swim towards his home in the reef. He laid on his rock feeling happy that his home was somewhat of a 'cave' that protected him from the currents.
