<P><STRONG>Turning my head from the door Damon had banished from, I set my eyes on the note under the door of my closet. I couldn't remember if i had seen it last night but i picked it up and unfolded the satin paper to read it. I almost automatically the flawless handwriting as stefans: </STRONG></P>
<P><EM>" Elena, I've gone to find Bonnie, i will find her i promise. Please don't try to find me, i don't want u to get hurt. I love you. And... if anything happens to me just know that i will always be with u, you are the love of my life. Always, no matter what happens. Sincerly, Stefan <3" </EM></P>
<P><STRONG>By the time i read the last word on the page there were stains of tears on the letter as i realized i was crying again. I sat down on the couch and held it to my heart. I closed my eyes, another tear fell from my face. Damon, i thought. I blamed you for Stefans death, oh my god. I blamed you and it wasn't your fault. I never meant to hurt you....i just lashed out at you....it was so much easier than facing the fact that Stefans gone and never gonna come back. </STRONG></P>
<P><STRONG>Remembering, Damon said "your in love with me elena" and it wasn't until this very second that im realizing he is right. I've always loved him, even when i was with Stefan. With stefan it was so much more, i never thought about how i felt for Damon. Stefans gone tho. </STRONG></P>
<P><STRONG>I knew i had to see him. I hopped in my car, hitting the gas, i love you damon and i'm sorry i never meant to hurt you i thought to myself.</STRONG></P>
