The gate doors open to reveal a castle like structure. My eyes widen as I take in the environment around me. Men and women all around mingling with each other, as if this was just any other social event. The doors to the already parked car finally open and Solomon steps out first with Henry following right behind him. He straightens his uniform out then offers his hand to me. I gladly take it as he helps me out of the car. I somehow manage to gracefully get out and subtly straighten myself up. Both my father and brother offer me their arms, and I gently grab the bend of their elbows like I've done many times before.

We walk towards the entrance and the men hastily open the door for my father. The doors open to reveal a grand ballroom below an even grander staircase. We descend down one of them catching some eyes as we do. The entrance of my father is very important. He is one of the five most powerful humans alive. He demands the respect of those around him. When we get to the bottom of the stairs, he gently breaks away from my hold leaving me with Solomon as he goes to attend to a business matter.

"Sometimes I forget how important he is," I whisper to Solomon who softly laughs.

"It's overwhelming sometimes," he agrees then leads me to some men who I assume he's friends with. Their badges indicate that they're of more value than most but still have a lot to prove of themselves. Most of these men are older than him but even at his young age, Solomon has been able to climb up the army ranks.

"Hey guys," Solomon greets them and shakes hands. "This is my sister Eleanora. Ella, these are some of the men I'm ranked with."

I politely smile and greet them making small talk with the few who care enough to engage. I jump a tad when I feel a hand on the small of my back.

"Care to dance?" Jamie whispers in my ear. I turned around to face him with an excited smile. I nod happy to get away from the men. I begin to follow when Solomon reaches out and grabs Jamie's forearm.

"Watch her James. One dance then I want her brought back to either me or my father," Solomon sternly instructs. James gives one nod in understanding then leads me to the floor.

"What were you doing with those men?" Jamie teases. "You don't associate yourself with lower ranking class."

"I associate myself with you," I smirk.

"You think you're so funny," he fake laughs then spins me. "How are you enjoying the ball so far?"

"It's kinda boring," I quietly tell him the truth. You never know who's listening, and you never know who's human or not.

"It's because the top five wolves aren't here. Something interesting always happens with them," Jamie explains.

"Tell me everything you know."

"Well their leader is named Gregor Fitzpatrick-" he starts but is interpreted by my unladylike snort.

"I know his name Jamie, but it always makes me giggle."

"Why?" He asked confused.

"Oh come on. All I can think about is him turning into a giant bug," I try to reason.

"That was a poor joke," he says rolling his eyes.

"Oh come on you're telling me you've never thought-" I started to say but was interrupted by two loud banging noise.

Everyone's attention was turned to the grand staircase as the Top Five wolves presence was announced. Five very handsome men and one woman stepped through the door and took in the scene below them. One of the men stood stiff as a board as he took in his surroundings while the other four looked considerably more relaxed. They finally decided to walk down the stairs, and when their feet touched the ballroom floor, the music and laughter resumed. I see my father making his way towards Jamie and I, so I grab Jamie's hand and lead him to meet in the middle.
