Chapter Twenty Nine:

He smelled like he was fresh out of the shower. The smell of fruit hit me like a train. "Why do you smell like that?" Ben sniffed loudly then sniffed really close to Jeff.

Surprisingly Jeff didn't even say anything as he leaned his head on the couch. I stared at him. His body moved as he breathed

Ben whispered something into Jeff's ear and started snickering. Immediately Jeff turned his eyes at me with a strange look.

He covered his face with his hand as he leaned his head back down onto the couch "See Jeffy is embarrassed!" Ben laughed as he pointed at Jeff's face

Jeff uncovered his face to reveal his red flushed expression that was now mixed with annoyance. Toby rolled off the couch "icCRRAAMAMAM" he screeched as he held a pint of chocolate icecream

My eyes brightened. Jeff snatched the icecream from Toby with a big frown before he gently placed it in my lap.

It was so cold. I looked at Jeff. Is it all mine? I smiled and was about to explode out of my seat.

He avoided my gaze as he sighed. "For Y/N. Not you Toby. You already have some in the freezer" Jeff murmured

Toby let out a whine like a child.

I hugged Jeff's arm and gave him a really quiet thank you.

He seemed scared when I suddenly wrapped my arms around his and squished my face against his biceps. I grinned.

He looked down at me, as his eyes softened. "Why r u nice?" I mouthed to him.

For once he wasn't a bitch.

"What about ME?? Why can't you think about me when you're grocery shopping" Ben did an exaggerated sob

Then Jeff took out a small bag of chocolate bars as he threw it at Ben.

"Oh my god" Ben then copied me and hugged Jeff's other arm. "Isn't this just nice. The three of us" Ben sighed

"Me too" Toby jumped onto Jeff's lap.

"Off. Now." Jeff snarled. As he looked at Ben and Toby with disgust.

"yEAH Y/N. off our my man. no homo" Ben hissed at me as he did his imaginary hair flip. I smiled at him. He returned the smile.

Then suddenly Jeff pulled his arm away from both of us and pushed Toby off his lap I watched as Toby flopped to the floor again.

I frowned

Then Toby proceeded to get up and walk to the kitchen like nothing happened.

I glared at Jeff
