Betrayal and lies.
Two words that hide behind every letter a lot of meanings and memories.
But not the kind that makes you happy.
Betrayal doesn't only happen in a relationship.
It can also happen between friends.
Or sometimes even your family.
Lies?
Oh please, don't let me start!
Most of the people I know are fluent in lies.
And I don't know what's worse:
People who lie twenty-four hours a day
Or people who think I am stupid enough to believe them.
Either way, I learned one thing from my life.
Never trust anyone.
Anyone.
Because even your closest friends can stab you in the back.
Or play with you like a puppet on a string.
That's why, I have trust issues.
I don't want to have high hopes in someone that I know will take advantage of me.
Hurt me
Then forget me.
I no longer trust myself.
But then again,
I need to stay strong.
You need to stay strong, dear future me.
Don't let anyone or anything bring you down.
You can never change others.
What you can change is,
Your attitude.
So stay strong my darling.
If I can make past this storm,
You can do too.
Just find strength in the pain they caused you.
Just remain strong.
