Lisa has been quiet throughout our whole mission to find her mom. As we were searching, we didn't get to ask around, fearing to be recognised and people might take pictures and create a scandal between us.

She tried calling her mom countless of times, but she never answered. This made her worry even more. We've been searching for an hour now, and I couldn't help but notice how the clouds were forming above us.

Well, it's gonna rain soon.

I looked at Lisa, and found her already sitting on the pavement, it seemed like she was already tired. "Ugh, if I was mom, where can I run off to?"" she began to contemplate, trying her best to think.

Sighing, I scrunched down to reach her level, a small smile escaping my lips, which was still noticeable despite wearing a mask.

"Want me to give you a ride on my back?" I offered.

She shook her head, quickly declining. "If I'm tired, you must be, too. I'm fine, Jungkook," she reassured, yet I wasn't content.

"C'mon, we can't waste any time," I turned my back against her, still scrunching down. "Just let me give you a piggyback ride, doll."

"No, t-thanks. There are p-people, Jungkook . . ."

"So what?" I quipped. "They shouldn't be nosy and mind their own business. Now c'mon, doll."

"Seriously, Jungkook. I'm fine. I can walk." She suddenly stood up, jogging a bit yet not leaving from her spot. "See? I'm fine. Now get up, let's go."

I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "It's either you ride on my back, or I carry you like a sack."

Her lips pursed, knowing that I would definitely play that card on her again. She groaned, finally riding on my back. I lifted her up, my hands gripping her thighs, her arms wrapped around my neck.

"Let's go, then," I said, beginning to walk.

Fifteen minutes passed, and Lisa tapped my shoulder. I turned my head, not noticing how close her face was to mine. The scant distance in between us wasn't helping at all, I dawned my eyes over her lips, and quickly looked away.

"Y-yes, doll?" I stuttered, suddenly growing tensed.

"You can put me down, now. You can rest on that bench, I'll just focus on contacting mom," she calmly told me, which got me surprised and confused at the same time.

I slowly put her down as she requested, and we made our way to the bench to rest a bit. She was suddenly calm, unlike earlier, she seemed like she was about to pass out.

She was dialling her mom's number, and I can see how anxious she was upon seeing it ringing. I attentively looked at her phone, also hoping that her mom would pick up.
