His eyes glanced at hers. She smiled, and he smiled back.

They were friends. Best friends. She had been there since the beginning.

And napalm skies
Fifteen flares inside those ocean eyes

"Ludwig, you don't have to do this!" Tears streamed from her face.

He refused to look at her- and with each bomb, Y/n could feel herself crumble.

Her best friend and crush had betrayed her.

"It's my duty- for my country." He said. "You, of all people should understand."

Those gentle ocean eyes she had fallen in love with- now were hard and cold as ice. Icy blues glared at her. "I don't need you."

Y/n held her breath- and choked as another bomb dropped. She began to bleed. "Ludwig..."

The other countries were helpless. They too were destroyed and clinging on to the last bits of life.

Blood seeped out from her quicker. Time was ticking.

"Ludwig..." she laid on the floor- nearly dead, watching the man she had loved so much walk away- without even looking back once.

Not once.

With a slow breath, she heard the last bomb go off.

One last tear rolled off. She shut her eyes and felt the pain go away.
