"A–ah, nothing. S–she just expressed her fear of us going to the unknown." Hermione stumbled in her words, Draco's eyes were a mixture of concern and danger.

Draco doesn't buy it.

"I don't believe you. My mother is presumptuous. I know her ways," Draco knew what his mother did with Professor Snape, the unbreakable vow. He knew his mother would go such lengths for him.

"Believe me. She told me about your 12 year old self, talking about me, your fondness," Hermione was able to put up an act and smirked. Nonetheless, it was true. His mother did talk about that fondness. She wasn't lying to him completely.

The tense in Draco's orbs slowly disappeared turning into a frown, making his cheeks heat up in a familiar shade, "Now, you're blushing." Hermione chuckled as she removed Draco's grasp on her arm.

She turned her back on Draco and forced her eyes shut and sighed. Glad he bought that. She held her necklace, the portkey and proceeded walking back towards the dungeon leaving Draco flustered.

"Hermione," Harry and Ron shot up from their seats as they caught a glimpse of their brunette friend.

"Thank you." Hermione said in barely a whisper, biting her lips, and staring simultaneously to her friends.

The jumped at Hermione and hugged her tight. She felt tears streaming down her face once again. "I—I could not fathom into words, how much—how much I am so darn lucky to have you two." She said and sighed in their comfort.

"'Mione, we're always here for you," Ron said. "And surprisingly, for Malfoy too." Harry added. Someone cleared his throat and they broke off the hug. Hermione turned to see Draco, awkwardly standing there with his hands in his pockets.

"As much as I appreciate the thought, I won't be hugging any one of you—except Granger there." He said nonchalantly and chuckled as he made his way to the leather couch, crossing his legs.

Harry arched his eyebrows, "Granger? Hug her? Is there something we've missed?" Hermione widened her eyes at Harry's predicament. Harry looked at her and she eyes him apologetically, and so as she did to Ron.

"We—We're," Hermione mumbled.

"We're together now, Potter." Draco finished for Hermione causing Hermione's eyes to shot open more widely.

"Excuse me, come again?" Ron asked in disbelief.

Draco stood up from his seat as he walked towards Ron. "Yes. Together, together. I hope there's no hard feelings there, Weasley. I mean, you've had your time, but that was a long time ago." Draco grinned as he patted the flustered red hair's shoulder.

Hermione smacked Draco's arm, "Ow, woman!" He growled. "Don't ow woman me." Hermione furrowed her eyebrows. "Bloody hell." Ron blurted out.

"A–Ah, Ginny should be the one who's here. She'll know what to say." Harry said, flicking his eyes, everywhere, awkwardly.

They all looked at the boy who lived.

"You guys don't have to say anything." Hermione said trying to escape from the conversation. "No. We do. We've been friends ever since—" Harry was cut off.
