1.53 "Melissa Doesn't Leave This Camp"

Next day.

I was standing by the gate. I could hear horses approaching us.

Bellamy jumped down from the watch post "open the gate"

Pike "Do what he says"

They opened the gate.

Two grounders on horses were standing there.

Bellamy stepped out  "talk"

I walked closer to get a better look.

Grounder "We seek the one you call Pike. "

Bellamy "Why?"

Grounder "An army has fallen, blood soaking the earth where he took their lives one by one. "

Bellamy "Welcome to the war against Skaikru"

Grounder 2 "Life was taken. We demand life in return"

Pike walked next to Bellamy "My life?"

Bellamy "What are your terms, sir?"

Grounder "come with us, and we walk away"

Pike "walk away from what?"

Grounder "By order of the Commander, you have been surrounded by an army of the 12 clans. In every direction, warriors wait to kill who attempts to cross the blockade, to greet them as e greeted those we caught outside your walls today. "

He threw a back in front of Pike's feet. Bloody uniforms.

Grounder "We left the bodies for the animals"

Bellamy "That's enough"

Pike "Let's go. "

Bellamy "They won't leave. I have seen this before"

Pike "Bellamy, fall back. That's an order"

Everybody looked at me.

 Bellamy turned his head to me.

I stepped forward "Why?"

The Grounder looked at me.

Pike "Melissa, fall back"

The Grounder then looked at Bellamy "Choose the side that's best for your people. "

Bellamy nodded "i do that every day"

Then he took his gun out and shot the Grounders. I jerked back. The fact that i was standing close to the horses the bullets could've hit me if Bellamy aimed wrong.

Bellamy "so far, nothing has changed my mind"

Pike "close the gate"

Bellamy grabbed my wrist but i jerked back and walked past him inside.

i looked around or my dad. I couldn't find him. But i found Jaha instead. I tried to walk past him but he stopped me.

Jaha "Melissa "

I sighed and looked at him "What?"

Jaha "I understand the feelings you go through at the moment"
