Normal P.O.V

It was the mandatory day off for the guilds, and Sabertooth decided to go spend the day in the city as had many other guilds.

They had been looking at store windows to see if any stores were worth going into when Sting heard a familiar laugh up ahead. He looked to see Lucy, who was walking with Natsu and a small snowman looking creature.

He smiled as he heard her laugh, relief filled his head as he saw her walking and laughing with the mage.

Lucy had caught sight of the infamous group, and glared at Minerva.

Minerva had also seen the girl and began to smirk, making her way to the blonde. Minerva decided that she still wasn't done with Lucy, feeling like the physical injuries aren't enough.

"Minerva, don't you dare!" Sting grimaced before he could even think the situation through. Minerva
stopped in her tracks, turning to face Sting.

"What was that?" She smirked, twisting a strand of hair around her finger.

"I said, don't you dare go near her." Sting glared, walking up to her. She looked surprised, chuckling a bit as the boy walked to her.

"You've already done enough don't you think? Now come on, let's go." Sting walked up to her, ushering her to keep walking the other way.

Sting looked back, a small frown on his face. "I'm sorry for what she did, I hope you start to feel better soon Lucy."

He turned to walk away, following his guild mates.

Lucy looked onward confused.

Sting, a Saber stood up for her a Fairy.

"That was weird. Why'd he care?" Natsu shrugged. "Come on Luce, let's get you back to the room." Natsu said, Lucy quietly agreeing. She was in a state of too much confusion to say anything else.

All Lucy could think about the rest of the day was Sting sticking up for her.

Natsu was right, he was in the rival guild, why'd he even care?
