"Defiantly. So good." She said as she picked a filter for her picture.

"Dude I'm sorry. I'm sorry I've been so distracted. I didn't even know the note was from you." Rowan said.

Eric shook his head.

"Yeah yeah. It was stupid. Don't even worry about it." He said looking down.

He likes her.

"Well thank you so much." Rowan smiled at him.

"It's fine. Another time." He said smiling back.

"Alright. Enjoy." He said walking past us with Greg.

"Yeah. You too." Rowan said taking another bite.

We kept walking up.

"He likes you." I commented.

Rowan looked at me like I was crazy.

"He so doesn't." She laughed.

"What's going on with you and Jake?" I asked.

Her smile vanished.

I regret asking now.

"I don't know." She admitted.

"Have you two-" I wiggled my eye brows.

"Stop oh my god." She shoved me playfully.

"What about you and Brandon?" She asked.

I looked at her and smiled.

"I know you hate him." I mumbled.

"He's an ass to me but if you like him, you like him. You may be insane, but you like him don't you?" She asked.

I shrugged.

"He gets me. In a weird way. I can't really explain it. He's nice." I mumbled.

She looked at me and raised her eye brow.

"He's nice? That's not a word I'd use to describe him." She sighed.

I looked away feeling bad for feeling anything for him when he treats her so bad.

"Hey I'm sorry. Hailey is right. I'm judgmental. I'll work on it." She said smiling.

I smiled.

"I'll see you later." I said as we got to our classes.

It's five.

I've stayed after to make up some work and catch up.

I've texted mom and Mick so they don't worry.

Rowan left after her last class.

I just finished my last paper and turned it in.

The teacher nodded and said goodbye.

I walked out of the class.

I checked my phone.

No text from any of the girls.

Nothing from Monkeyman.

Thank God.

I couldn't handle anything from him right now.

It was silent.

So quiet.

My mind couldn't help but wander to Jensen.

I've been without him for over six months.

But he wasn't dead.
