It's lunch now.

After lunch I have an online Latin class which means I can leave.

I'm not even eating here so I'm walking out now.

I pulled my phone out and rewatched the video.

It seems like a weird joke.

Who even jokes like this?

No one I know.

As if I know anyone anyway.

I stopped at the bottom of the steps and then finally saw it.

I'm not the only person tagged.

Rowan was tagged.

Hailey was tagged.

Elisia was tagged.

I shook my head.

I barely know these girls.

I excited the app and stopped thinking about the stupid joke.

I clicked the last text I received from Jensen.

'2nite will rock'

It didn't rock.

I got sent to rehab for six months and you're stuck in a hospital bed.

I tried to remember the last sober thing I said to him.

"Hey Jensen. Can you drive me to Taco Bell?"

I'm so sure that's it.

That's the last sober sentence I said to him.

I felt my stomach twist.

I want to go see him.

🐵🙋🏻‍♂️

I was standing in the waiting room.

I can't make myself walk and ask what room they have him in.

I can't move at all.

I'm not even sure I'm a breathing.

"Ma'am?"

The receptionist saw me standing there.

"Oh hey Maddie. I didn't recognize you. You look great. You've grown so much."

I looked at her name tag.

Samantha.

I don't remember her.

"When I saw you, well you were maybe five. Your mother used to work reception with me." She informed me.

I nodded.

I still don't remember her but that's not relevant.

I swallowed hard.

"Hey. I-I'm here to visit a friend of mine." I mumbled.

"Sure thing. What's his name and I'll give you the room number?" She asked.

"Jensen Dale."

I said it so low it was barely audible.

"Sorry, who?" She asked.

"Jensen. Jensen Dale."

I said more loud and clear.

She nodded and began typing.

She looked and then to me.

"His parents are here. Let me call them."
