We got back at lunch.

We were all sitting outside in the court yard.

We've been silent for a while now.

"Why is the timer still going? Why didn't it stop when we found Elisia?"

Hailey asked showing us the timer was now at 52:34:37.

"It must be for something else." I mumbled drinking my water.

"Great." Hailey sighed out.

This isn't over.

That timer is a reminder that whatever this sicko is planning, isn't over.

"Do you think Ash and Elisia could be in on this together?" Rowan asked.

She suspects Elisia is involved?

Before maybe I would believe it, now, seeing what just happened to her.

Rowan looked between Hailey and I and sighed seeing we didn't think so.

"That doesn't make any sense." Hailey blurted.

"They could be messing with us?" Rowan thought aloud.

I shook my head.

"I don't think so. I don't think she'd do that to herself. Besides, I don't think we hurt her in anyway. Do you?" I asked.

Hailey shook her head as well.

"I like her. I trust her." Hailey said before she brushed her hands on her leg.

I nodded agreeing with Hailey for once.

Rowan looked at Hailey and me.

"Do you trust me?" She asked.

Hailey looked at Rowan confused.

"Yeah." Hailey answered honestly.

Rowan looked at me.

"Of course." I nodded.

"Then why won't either of you tell me your secret?" She asked looking between us.

Hailey reacted first.

She sighed and began to grab her things to get up.

Rowan looked sad and looked as if she were about to stand too.

"Rowan. Hi." A kid said walked by.

"Hi." Rowan said back smiling.

He sheepishly did this cute little awkward circle thing to look at her a little longer.

Then he just walked off. 

"Well at least he's your age." Hailey said as she stood up.

I know she's probably joking but I don't like it.

I send her a look but before she can see it, Nikki comes up.
