A shattering cry broke
through the silent night
But they did not stop.
They mutiliated not only her body
But the dreams, aspirations and hopes.
She bore this in a deafening silence
But what else could she do
For she was the woman scorned

A shattering cry broke
through the silent night

She bore this in a deafening silence
But what else could she do
For she was the woman scorned
