XIV. In Between The Strings

The traditional musicians had been doing their best job accompanying the guests with their beautiful melodies.

Chaeyoung could see the guests leaving their seats one by one to come to the dance floor and dance with their partner. She could even spot Yuju and Jaebum dancing along with other guests.

"You want to dance?" Jin Young asked her. He noticed that she had been staring at the dancefloor for quite some times.

Chaeyoung quickly turned her gaze to Jin Young. "Uh, I was just watching Yuju and Jaebum, hehe."

Jin Young tapped on Min Hyun who was sitting next to him. "Assistant Manager Hwang, please take my sister to the dance floor."

Both Chaeyoung and Min Hyun were startled.

"O-Orabeoni?" Chaeyoung stuttered.

"I trust my sister with you, please take care of her." Jin Young dramatically looked at Min Hyun in the eyes.

"O-okay, then..." Min Hyun stood up from his chair, and bowed to Chaeyoung. "Park Chaeyoung, shall we dance?" He stretched his arm forward to her.

"Go with him, I'll be right here." Jin Young gave her a reassuring smile, telling her it's okay.

She was hesitant at first, but looking at Min Hyun's smile, she braced herself to put her hand on his.

The smile on Min Hyun's face wider when she put her hand on his and brought them to the dance floor. "May I?" He asked for her permission, he noted a granting nod from her before he put his hand on her tiny waist.

Chaeyoung slowly brought her hand up to his shoulder. She was nervous because this is the very first time they ever be this close.

They swayed throughout the melodies. Min Hyun turned out to be an excellent dancer. He knew just how to lead her.

"You're a really good dancer." She complimented him.

"And you're not so bad yourself. Who taught you how to dance this good?" Min Hyun loosened his grip on her waist as the song come to an end.

"Uh, that was--" Him. Chaeyoung was petrified when she saw that figure approached them along side with his wife.

"Oppa!" Yee Eun exclaimed. Rushing her steps to her brother. "Aish, you didn't tell me you went with Chaeyoung."

"Oh, uhmm, I actually stole her from his date." Min Hyun explained.

Yee Eun laughed, "Gosh! Oh, by the way you look stunning Chaeyoung." She put both hands on Chaeyoung's shoulder.

Chaeyoung still trying to oust the tension inside her while looking at Jungkook. "T-thank you, Yee Eun. You look gorgeous too."

"Sorry for interrupting your moment, but I was just wondering maybe I can steal one dance with my brother? It's been a while, isn't it Oppa?" Yee Eun glanced at Min Hyun.

"Well, sure! It's been a long time." Min Hyun said.

"Jungkook, if you don't mind, you can dance with Chaeyoung." Yee Eun suggested. Causing both Jungkook and Chaeyoung looking at her with wide eyes.
