Some Die, Some Live...

-"you're very welcome Zane. Please, I need you all to put scrubs on, before entering the room."

Inside the room, Zane scams Harumi and confirmed Ruby's diagnostics. A few minutes late they all leave the room, and once again it is only me and Harumi.

-"I guess that is it then, I hope you find the peace you deserve." I hold to her hand aware that there is nothing more that can be done.

I see Ruby walking in after a few minutes, she has another doctor with her, she signed to me that I can stay if I want, and I just stayed there holding to Harumi's hand as they check everything again. They leave again once they are done.

Ruby comes back, by herself now. She gently placed her hand over my shoulder, and I noticed she has a bandage on, all the way to her wrist.

-"What's happened to your hand"

-"Oh!" She very quick move her hand away from my shoulder -"I felt down going home last night, is nothing serious" she said looking at her bandage.

-"Is it still hurting?"

-"Just a bit"

After a few seconds of silence, Ruby started again

-"Lloyd, we need you to authorise the live supporting equipment to be switched off, I am sorry, but since you're her next of kin, we have to ask you. You don't have to do it right now, you can take your time."

-"If I wasn't her next of kin, what would happen?" - I felt a huge responsibility over my shoulders to decide that.

-"Well, if she was a normal person we would keep in life support until we find suitable organs receivers to what can be harvested from her.

-"What do you mean by 'a normal' person?"

-"She's a Royal princess, as a protocol, she is not a donor."

-"As her next of kin, am I allowed to change that?"

-"Yes, I suppose you are, considering she has no blood relatives, as far as her records go."

-"And how can I do this" - I recall one of the last things she told me was that her heart could heal someone else.

-"You will have to complete some paperwork"

-"I want to do it"

I did what Lloyd asked me to, and before 7:00 am I have all the paperwork ready.

I requested my team to start compatibility tests to Harumi organs that would be possible to harvest.

Lloyd, Zane and Pixal were in the waiting room, others joined Lloyd, and they were all given him all love and support he needed, that easy my heart a bit.

-"Doctor Ruby !" That was Flynn calling me in the corridor, he has come to the hospital to see Iva before going to school -"what is happening to the Princess? Why are there so many doctors in her room?"

I didn't know what to say to Flynn, but I have to say the truth.

-"Flynn, I am sorry, she didn't make it, earlier this morning her brain has died." - his eyes filled with tears.

-"Can't she have a brain transplant?" - he said that probably because Iva has told him about herself receiving a heart transplant.

-"Sorry Flynn, no, brains can't be transplanted." - he looks at me devastated

-"so, she is dead?"

-"I am afraid so"

-"does the green ninja know yet?
