Chapter Nineteen

Aaliyah's POV

"Noooo, don't go." I said grabbing Zion's arm.

"Ma, I told you I have to get ready." He laughed at me.

"Then get ready here." I argued.

"My clothes is at home." He said.

"So you brought all this clothes but you couldn't bring something to wear?" I asked him as I raised my eyebrow.

"I didn't think of this till I actually left my house." He said.

I pouted trying to make him stay.

"Don't worry, I'll be back right before you know it." He reassured me.

"Pinky promise me." I said putting my pinky out.

"Pinky promise." He said as he wrapped his pinky around mine.

"Fine, bye Zion." I said hugging him.

"Bye mamas." He said while hugging me back and giving me a kiss on the cheek.

Once he left I went straight to my bathroom to take a shower and wash my hair. I was in the shower for a good hour when I noticed my skin getting pruny so I got out.

I went to my closet to pick out what to wear. I decided to wear my olive green ribbed crop top with my flower embroidered shorts.

I was buttoning my shorts when I heard the door bell ring. I went downstairs to get it and open it to Zion.

He was wearing a white shirt with koala bears on it, black joggers, and his white air forces with his LA hat. He also had on glasses.

"Told you I'd be back soon." He said walking in.

"Nigga it's been a good hour." I said looking at the clock that read '4:21'.

"Bitch that's fast as fuck." He said back.

"No it's not." I argued.

"I'm not about to argue with you." He said walking up the stairs.

"Damn, wait for me." I said following him to my room.

"Sooo.... what are you about to do?" He asked me.

"My makeup and my hair." I said answering his question.

"And how long do you suggest that might take?" He asked.

"Probably a hour." I answered him.

"Ugh, that's gonna take forever." He whined.

"ThAt'S gOnNa TaKe fOrEvEr." I mocked him.

"Shut up with your fat ass head." Zion said sticking his tongue out.

"You shut up with your lanky ass." I said sticking my tongue out.

"Bitch."

"Hoe."

"Slut."

"Whore."

"Fuck." Zion said not being able to think of other words.

"Ha, gotcha bitch." I laughed.

"Shhhhh, go finish your makeup, that you don't need by the way." He said trying to shush me up.

"I'm only doing my eyebrows." I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Still don't need it." He said kissing my cheek.

"Ok Zion." I laughed.

I finished my eyebrows within 15 minutes.

"Yess you're finally done." Zion said getting up.
