Chapter Thirteen

Aaliyah's POV

I wake up with Nick still sleeping peacefully.

I look at my phone and see that it is 8:52 a.m.

I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a shower.

I get out the shower and pick out a grey tie dye thrasher shirt, light washed ripped jeans and my white air forces.

I look to my bed and see Nick still sleeping.

"Baby, wake up." I said gently shaking him.

"Ma, I'm tired." He said rolling over to face me while groaning.

"Nick your flight is at 3, wake up." I said starting a to shake him again.

"What time is it?" He asked me while rubbing his eyes.

"It's 9:37, why?" I said while checking my phone.

"You telling me you woke me up when I could have a good hour left to sleep?" He asked me while groaning again.

"I'm tryna hang out before your ugly ass has to go, so yes." I said while jumping on him.

"You know I'm sexy as hell quit playing with me." He said grabbing his phone to check it.

"Mhmm okay, believe what you want." I said while patting his chest.

"So what do you want to do today?" He asked me as he got off his phone to adverted his attention to me.

"I was thinking we go a movie then go out to eat." I said to him more as a question.

"Sounds good, so I'mma go get ready." He says getting up.

He tries to kiss me but I dodge it.

"Wassup?" He asks me while trying to give me a hug.

"Nigga you just woke up and your are lips, dry lick them." I said pushing him away.

"Why do I like your mean ass so much?" He said while laughing.

"All I speak are facts." I said flipping my hair.

He just rolled his eyes and went into the bathroom.

I turned on the T.V. and waited for Nick to come out.

I finished a whole episode by the time Nick came out.

"Finally." I said while groaning.

"Liyah you take way longer than me." He said while rolling his eyes.

"LiYaH yOU tAkE wAY lOnGeR tHaN mE" I said mocking him.

"What was that?" He said looking at me after putting on his shirt.

"Nothing." I said smiling.

"That's what I thought, witcho scary ass." He said looking at me in the eyes.

"Anything for you daddy." I said smiling again.

"Ma, stop calling me that." He said while laughing.

"Well that's no fun." I said pouting.

"Stop pouting and let's go." He said grabbing his phone.

"Well that was fast." I say getting up and turning off the T.V.

"Come on before we miss the movie." Nick says while whining.

"Damn, I'm coming." I said grabbing my bag.

We get in the car and Nick starts driving.

I grabbed the aux cord and played On My Way.

"Baby, you are not serious." He said looking at me while laughing then adverting his eyes back to the road.
