Chapter Six

Nick's POV

"EDWIN" I yelled from my room.

"WHAT BITCH" he yelled back to me

"COME HERE I GOTTA TELL YOU SOMETHING" I yelled growing impatient.

He didn't respond to me but I heard his foot steps going up the stairs.

"Boy, what do you want?" He asked me annoyed.

"Well" I said dragging it out. "I kinda sorta have a crush on Aaliyah and I don't know what to do." I said playing with my fingers.

His face softened and he said "just get to know her and see if she feels the same way"

"Hmm simple, thanks Edwin, you're the best" I said to him as he was leaving.

No problem, just stop bothering me" he said rolling his eyes.

"I- ok" I said confused.

Aaliyah's POV

Me and Zion finished shopping and I realized that I was hungry as hell.

"Bubby" I said to Zion to catch his attention.

"Yes boostie" He said looking down at me.

"Boostie?" I questioned him.

"Well you're my bestie and my boo so, boostie" He said smiling down at me while pulling me close to him.

"I- ok Zion" I said shaking my head. "Anyways I'm hungry" I said pouting.

"Let's go to the food court" he said letting go of me.

"Ok boostie" I said mocking him but he didn't realize it.

"Ahhh I got you saying it" he said cheesing at me.

"Bye" I said rolling my eyes and laughing.

We got to the food court and I got Panda Express and Zion got Chick-Fil- A. They called my order and I got up.

"Wait I'm coming" Zion said to me.

I waited for him for a few seconds but he was taking too long so I just left.

I got my food and I was about to turn around somebody cleared their throat.

I turn around and see a tall dude standing behind me.

"Excuse me" I said. He spoke up and said "I would like to know if I can get your number".

I politely said "sorry but no" but he was still pushing it.

"Ma come on, giving me your number won't hurt"

I was about to go off on him but got cut off by, "bro she's not interested, move on"

I  turn around and see Zion.

" I think she can speak for herself" the boy said to Zion.

"She did and she said no" Zion said to him.

The boy tried to grab me and that's when Zion snapped.

"Nah, fuck that" Zion said getting angry.

Zion pushes me behind him and start getting closer to him.

"I swear to God if you ever fucking touch her again" Zion said clenching his jaw.

"Z" I said trying to get his attention to calm him down.

"What the fuck you gonna do about it?" The guy said.

"If I were you I would shut up" I said to the dude that was about to get beat up.
