Azure ignored the butterflies in her stomach from his handsome smile and responded, "Me and my roommate had a falling out...I'm not trying to run into her." she told half the truth.

Nico could tell Azure didn't like controversy, he caught onto that the first night they hung out and she happily said yes to anything he wanted to do. So it didn't surprise him that she had been avoiding her roommate over something that was probably small and dismissible.

"I feel you...the only other place that's cool is my crib though." Nico told her.

He didn't want to make the same mistake he believed to run Azure away the first time, although her story about the broke phone seemed to be true.

"Okay, we can go there. I made you a platter before the kitchen closed, just in case you're hungry." she said, showing off the plastic bag.

"Damn, you already taking care of me huh?"

Cupping her chin, he resisted from leaning over and tonguing her down like he wanted to. It had only been a few days since he slept with Juicy, but he wouldn't mind laying it down for Azure and all she had to do was say the word.

However he continued to play it cool.

"I know you probably didn't have time to eat since you left and came straight to get me, so I figured it was the least I could do"

Although it was a small gesture, Nico appreciated it - as he was always the one to do for women and didn't expect anything back but the drawls. Azure was the first female to actually give a fuck if the nigga was hungry, and that blew him away.

After settling on Netflix and a late breakfast, Nico directed their journey to his apartment. He was glad he had recently cleaned, otherwise it would've probably been a mess with workout gear and a bunch of other mess everywhere.

Azure took a seat on his sectional couch, and he warmed up the breakfast platters she prepared for the two. Azure didn't know one thing about Nico, but knowing that he was most likely a health guru she ordered him a fruit salad, veggie omelet and turkey bacon while she herself just had pancakes.

"So tell me about this falling out with your roommate...cause eventually I'm going to want to take you out and not in your uniform." Nico said taking a seat next to her.

He was digging into his fruit salad while he waited for the rest of the food to be ready. Azure couldn't help but to stare at his mouth, as his full lips engulfed the melon, the juices attempting to run down his chin but failing as it wasn't fast enough for his long tongue. She kept her dirty thoughts in her head, as she tried to brush off his curiosity.

"It's nothing." Azure said not wanting to get into it.

"It can't be nothing, if she got you scared to go to your own home."

Silence fell over the two, and he caught on that whatever it was wasn't so little. Deciding to not pressure her, he moved the conversation along.

"We going scary, funny or action." he asked, flipping through the Netflix selection.

"I'll tell you." Azure blurted out.

Nico laughed, "It's cool, I mean it really isn't my business." he shrugged.

"Yeah but I want to tell you, it's been eating me up inside and the only person I talk to is Justin."

"Okay, then tell me" Nico encouraged her.

Azure began to blurt out everything, from the minute her ex boyfriend ended their long term relationship and leaving her clueless for weeks on end to the time where she caught him having sex with her roommate, making sure to not leave anything out.

Nico sat and listened, and by the time Azure was finished they were done their breakfast.

"Damn, I'm sorry that nigga put you through that." Nico responded solemnly.

He didn't know who Kelz was, neither had he ever heard of him - but that didn't take away from the fact boul sounded like a sucka. He didn't even have the balls to tell Azure what it really was, and left her wondering for weeks just to find out he was balls deep in her roommate.

He was shocked to say the least, because you could truly never tell what a person was going though. While he didn't know Azure all like that, he was sure that she didn't deserve the fate that had been given to her.

"Yeah, so that's why I've been repeating outfits for the past week and a half. I put in for a roommate change, but the office said it's too late." Azure painfully chuckled.

When Nico witnessed Azure putting her head down, he lifted it up by her chin.

"You have nothing to be afraid of. First off, they did you wrong. And shawty probably just as scared to see you, as vice versa. And second, you got me. That's all you really need, to do whatever you want to do" he gave her a wink.

Azure smiled, as that was the first time in the past week that she actually felt a little better about the situation. Maybe she would go grab her things later that night.

"So what about you?" She asked, moving the conversation along, "Do you have or had anybody?"

She was sure he wasn't just this single, fine ass nigga living his life alone. He had to have at least one, if not a hand full of women in his life.

Nico immediately thought of Juicy, and a few others he entertained, but overall he knew he was as single as a dollar bill.

"I got a few friends," he admitted, "No girlfriend. Don't really think I'm the boyfriend type."

"Oh, so you mean you're a player?" Azure corrected him.

"No" Nico shook his head, "I wouldn't say that."

"So what do you want me to be? A friend?"

Nico didn't know how to respond to Azure. If he was being honest, he damn sure wanted her more than a friend. He wanted to taste her, one, feel her, two, and make sure no other man had a chance to do either two. Was that a relationship?

"I don't want to hurt you," he said being honest, "Cause I can see that somebody already got a head start on that. But I like you, you intrigue me, definitely."

Nico was a honest man, and that was what women either loved or hated about him. When he had good things to say, sure, but he wasn't always so nice.

"How would you hurt me?" Azure asked, naively.

Nico smiled at her innocence.

"I want you," he said giving her a lustful look, "Bad. You turn me on, but I know if you ever allowed me to take it there with you, I wouldn't be able to give you what your heart needs."

Azure nodded, understanding what he meant. She stared at him for a while, before speaking up,
"But what if I want you too? And I'm ok with you not being able to give me that. Because honestly, I don't think it's for me"

"But most of the time women just say that, and they don't really mean it"

Nico was way too familiar with that act. He couldn't count how many girls told him they were cool with just sex, only to catch feelings right after. Juicy for example. While she tried to play it cool most times, Nico knew just being a booty call was getting to her and she wanted more. She texted him constantly, whereas he just wanted to communicate when it was time to fuck.

"But I do mean it" Azure assured him, "Really."

Nico gave Azure a once over, asking himself if he wanted to take the risk. Hell, he knew he did. But he really liked this chick, and he wasn't ready for the chase to be over.

What would happen once they did have sex? Would she just turn into another one of his throw aways? Or would she be set aside from the pack? He had never been so confused, especially about the opposite sex.

"You sure?" Nico asked her, wanting to be clear.

Azure nodded, her eyes looking as if she was begging to be loved.

"I'm sure."
