It has been 5 weeks since i left home and started living with the thorstons. i do like it here, they are so kind to me and support me with everything, but with everyday that passes i start to lose hope from the fact that i will never see my mother again. There has been no sign of her at all. i was sitting on my bed looking through the old photos my me, mum and dad. i looked at my younger self from when i was 5 years old and i saw how happy i was with my parents. i remember when my dad used to come home from work he would always play with me even though he was tired. i remembered how he would always make me laugh and how he would always read to me when I went to bed.
A knock on the door occurs, and ruff comes in.
"Hey you alright" she asks me
"Yeah" i replied
"Are those your photos from when you were young?"
"yeah, but i'm done looking at them now, so do you want to do something fun"
"well why don't we talk about a certain boy" Ruff says to me with a cheeky grin
"i have no idea what your talking about" i lie
"oh please i've noticed how close you and Hiccup have gotten" she says
i try not to blush but i can feel my cheeks going red
"so you do like him" she says
"maybe..." is all i say smiling
"i knew it, you have to tell him"
"no way" i say quite quickly
"why not?" she asks
"because he doesn't like me that way, were just friends" i answer
"oh come on, i know for a fact that, that is not true. i've also seen the way he looks at you"
"what do you mean?"
"during class he always looks at you"
"no he doesn't"
"i never lie, you know that" she says and i know it's true, she never does lie.
"well what about you?" i start to question her
"what?" she says defensively
"don't you have a crush on a certain black haired boy?" i say i say giving her a grin raising my eyebrow
"i have no idea what your talking about" she says laughing and i laugh with her.
"Does he really stare at me during class? " I ask looking at the ground
"Yeah" she replied "why don't you tell him?"
"Because... he won't want to go out with someone like me"
"Someone like you?... what do you mean by that?"
" oh come on he's rich, famous, popular, handsome why would he want to bother with someone like me?"
" I will tell you why, because he probably thinks your different from any other girl he's met. Your smart, kind, fun pretty. He'd be dumb not to want to go out with you"
"Thanks ruff"
"Your welcome, don't worry you will see that you two are perfect together and will end up together"
Well that's the next chapter done. I'm so sorry I took long for this. I know I always do but honestly life is just so stressful. I had a lot going gone and guess I am starting to feel depressed again but I am surviving so yeah
