My cousin's best friend

I stare at my two best friends, both with worry written all over their faces. My cousin and his best friend with some of their mates hanging on the deck.

It's the school holidays and we decided to come to my parents beach house. My boyfriend is on his way here.

Looking at them I frown "What's going on?" I ask as Laura hands me her phone with a video on it

"This was at Rachel's party last night, I want you to see this before I expose him, he did this once before and you let him off because we all heard him say your name when he kissed her and he was completely off his face but this time..." I couldn't help the tears fall from my eyes

"You don't have to watch this" Jackie tells me placing a finger on my cheek to wipe the tear "We didn't want to hide this from you or you finding out from someone else" I nod and turn my head down to press play.

There he is, my boyfriend of 12 months making out with the girl we just finished talking about.

"Bro what are you doing?" He snaps his head up, looks around and must see Lucy with her phone in her hand

"You're gone now bitch!" She yells at him

"Laura please!" He walks over to her, only to have her boyfriend block his path "Thats the last time you ever hurt my cousin again Damien"

I turn the phone off and look up at everyone watching me

"No wonder he text me saying he wanted to talk to me" I find her social media accounts and post the video up on all of them "It's done"

Before I can call him, I see his car pull up. He gets out of his car and begins to make his way to me. I turn to my friends who nod their heads to all walk back inside the house.

"Sweetie" I look up and see him, I really look at him. He looks hungover and tired, he looks guilty and heartbroken.

"I'm over it, I have been over it for the last few weeks" I say "I constantly watch her flirt with you, you never push her away, did I not give you all my attention or did you want more?" I look at him and he is speechless "Don't feed me the I thought she was you bullshit, the first time I knew was a mistake but this time I'm done Damien"

"Sienna please baby, I didn't know what to say, I was caught up with everything, the party, the drinking and thinking about spending the holidays with you and she kissed me"

"You were fully making out with her" I say with tears falling from my eyes. He moved to reach out but I stop him "Damien, I'm done with our relationship, I don't even know if we can be friends either"

He broke down. Genuine tears falling from his eyes "You were my best friend"

"And you were mine too" I try to smile at him "I think it's best you leave and I'll see you when school start back in a few months" He knew he wasn't getting me back. I've had this strict rule on no 2nd chances after the first fuck up.

He started begging and pleading with me. I couldn't stand there and continue to watch him. He completely broke my heart and watching him continued to bring tears to my eyes

"Damien man, you should go" I turn my head to see Luca standing there. He has always been my hero, my other best friend, my cousins best friend in the whole wide world

"Fuck off man! I bet you just love seeing this, finally get to swoop in and have her to yourself" My eyes widen in shock as I stare at Luca. He is calm and not showing any signs of Damiens words affecting him. Damien continues on about Luca always wanting me but never being able to because of his bro code with my cousin, taunting him with me being just a touch away but never fully having me. I cry, not because of what he is saying but by how he is trying to belittle someone close to me
