A few years had gone by since Kay killing Katy and my friends becoming HIV positive. None of us talk anymore because they all blamed me but no one told them to sleep around with Katy to get back at me. I didn't need them anyway especially where I ended up going in life. I own a hair salon and it's also a beauty spa resort. We do waxing, massages, threading, facials and anything that involves looking and feeling fabulous. It's a small beautiful resort and it makes a lot of money. The friends I have now are business women like me and not about drama and sleeping with your ex. I spent the last few years waiting on Kay to finally get out of prison. I still have the promise ring she gave me. As I pulled up near the prison I saw Kay leaving. A car was already parked in the front and a women opened up her arms. I felt my heart sink to the floor when I saw them kiss. I don't understand what was going on. I didn't say anything or go over there. Instead I went to Cathy house. I gave her the ring and told her give it to Kay. She asked if I wanted to talk and stepped aside for me to come in. I sat down on her couch and she returned to the living room with two bottles of beer. I opened mines and started chugging it down. Cathy and my mom broke up two years ago. My mom left her for someone but Cathy and I still remained close.

Cathy: What happened

Density: You know how long I held on to this promise ring and waited for your sister to come out of prison just to see her hugging and kissing on some other women

Cathy: Yeah she seeing some women she met in prison, her girlfriend got out before she did

Density: Why didn't you tell me

Cathy: Because I'm not betraying her trust again, it took a long time to get it back but your just like your mom, a smart beautiful individual so I'm sure you will find someone else but don't not come in between my sister and her relationship I mean it

We talked a little longer then their other sister Kat came in along with Teresa. They were having a welcome back party for Kay. I stuck around until Kay walked in and she was holding hands with that girl. I rushed up to her and slapped across the face. The room grew quite and the tears poured down my face.

Density: I was seventeen when you got locked up and now I'm twenty five, I waited on you eight fucking years for you to end up with someone else, I should have known what was up when you stop calling and wasn't responding to my letters, I wish you nothing but the best in life and I never want to see you again
