When I tell you that I'm going to sleep,

I really mean,

My cheeks will be stained from the tears that refuse to stop flowing,

My thoughts will keep me up till 5am,

I'll contemplate suicide around 3am.

When I tell you good morning,

I'll pretend everything is fine,

that I slept great,

and you'll believe me.
