When we walked back in all the girls were giving me these nasty looks and I hadn’t even done anything wrong. I was actually trying to be cool with them but I guess every girl can’t be your friend.
“Aye nigga, my homie wanna holla at you.” Ezra said smiling.
“E like why?” I said staring at him smiling.
“I got yo back, thank your big brother sometimes.” He said.
“Whatever.” I said laughing.
“King get ya girl.” Ezra said and I saw his girlfriend hit him.
“Are you ready to talk to me yet?” I asked King and he was just leaning side to side smiling at me.
“I mean it is what it is.” He said.
“What does that mean?”
“We bout to play 21 questions?”
“Come here so we can talk.” I said grabbing his hand and pulling out the room onto the front porch.
“What’s up.” King said.
“You tell me.” I said folding my arms across my chest and staring at him.
“It’s like that?” he asked smiling.
“Yeah, is there a problem Mr. Player?”
“I’m not a player.”
“Who is your girl in there?
“I don’t know to be honest, she just like a friend.”
“You are lying.” I said smiling.
“What Ima lie to you for?” he said.
“I’m trying to figure that out too.”
“So what’s up with this number of yours? You gonna give it to me?”
I looked at the ground smiling deciding on if I wanted to or not and his dreads were just swinging. They were so cute.
“I’ll give it to you before you leave here now let’s go back inside.” I said smiling.
He smiled and opened the door and I went in first and these girls were just giving me these looks like they were about to jump me.
“Excuse me. What is your name?” the girl that was with King said.
“Brea.” I said.
