The Wolf and The Dragon (Book 1)

A New Quest

-"Are they still there?" - I ask making her jump

-"Gosh, Lloyd! How did you get out? From all of our enemies the media is the worst to get hide off" - she breaths in relive to see me out of there.

-"tell me about, but I Am a ninja, I found my way"

-"Please be careful, it is already a lot of gossip and stories about the two of you, some really unfair, it will hurt you...."

-"come on Nya! Since when do we care for what the media says? and I'm careful, you know that"

-"Ok! - she pauses, takes a deep breath spitting out what is stuck in her throat - "Lloyd, please speak to me?"

I let myself fall into the sofa, and look at her without knowing what to say.

-"honestly Nya, I Haven't figured out how I fell yet"

I told her everything I heard from the doctors so far, and my nightmares, she just listens to me.

We have become really close to each other since the last events. She has always been a good friend and my 'big sister',  I learned to admire and respect her in every aspect, now she was far more, she is close to my heart than my mother, she believes in me even when I Couldn't believe myself, she stands by my side in my darkest hours, and I knew she would always be there for me.

I felt so much better after I Said everything that was in my mind to her.

We carried on talking, now about the funny parts of our adventures while the guys were stuck in the first realm.

-"so, what next?" - she said referring to a next possible mission maybe...

-"I don't know! - Wu put me in trance yesterday, and I think I had a vision, someone told me to find the Lupa, accordingly to Wu, an ancient powerful wolf goddess."

-"A friend or a foe?"

-"Good question! - I hope would be a friend."

-"Why you should find this Wolf Goddess?"

-"To restore love, heal all wounds... things like that, not entirely sure to be honest, but it can be our next quest.." - I answer unsure if it would be the real reason.

-"Hum... Interesting! - I will help you! - Where shall we start?"

-"Not a clue Nya! "

-"Well, I will speak to Pixal, I am sure she will come up with some ideas."

-"Thanks, big Sys!"

-"You are Welcome, little Bro!"

[Ruby] POV

I finished reading the 3 books I got from Mistake's place, well, I read the parts I could understand, around 1/3 of them, the other 2/3 were either illustration of some kind of spells/rituals or a strange language, I have never seen before.

There was also lots of notes in Mistake handwriting, like recipes, listing all her funny tea names needed in the process.

The truth is I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do, but keep hearing this voice inside telling me to at least try one of Mistake's 'recipes'. I really need some help, but I wouldn't trust anyone but Mistake.

Maybe I should experiment as I read, like lab classes, so I just pick one that does not seem to require a second person.

"What can go wrong?" - I tell myself trying to be positive.

I place all the books in my kitchen worktop, open on the right page as I read the instructions

I check my cupboard to see if I have all the funny named tea I needed to start.
