"We finding out the gender today are we?"

She asked putting the gel all over her stomach and setting up that machine thing.

"Yea, I hope it's a girl, she gone be so cute."

Niyah said getting all happy. Damn a girl is hard work man but it's straight. My baby girl gone be spoiled and ima make sure she don't got a nigga till she 80.

"Ok let's see."

The doctor said moving the thing all around her belly and looking at the screen. A big smile formed on the doctors face.

"Aww look like you guys are having a girl!"

Niyah smiled.

"Yay!"

Damn a daughter? I never pictured this happening. I hope I can be a good dad for this lil girl tho.

"And your baby girl seems really healthy and happy."

I smiled, I'm happy to know my baby gone be straight.

"Thank you."

Niyah said as the doctor packed all her stuff and left the room.

"Sooo what's the move now? What you wanna do from here?"

I asked helping her up.

"I wanna have a gender reveal/ baby shower party."

I shrugged.

"We could do that. I mean we know the gender now, we can start planning."

"I want it to be royalty themed but rn we can just go shopping for the baby."

I nodded.

"Baby clothes and all that?"

She nodded.

"Bet lets go then."

I said as I held the door opened for her.

"Ion know what imma do, my mama not happy about me being pregnant at this age. She don't want me at her house no more so I gotta leave, ion know where imma go tho."

She said walking out the door.

"I guess you just gone have to stay with me."

I said shrugging.

"Not with your bitch there. I'm not staying if she gonna be there."

I sighed.

"I can't just kick her out Niyah."

I said as we got into the Uber. Yes I am working on getting a car. I just don't like driving.

"Well I'm not gonna stay there if she's there. Think about the baby L'a!"
