I was glad everything was working out right now.

"Your mama said she love you." I told King.

He nodded before laughing.

"Daddy you so skinny." He said.

"But I'm strong." I said.

"I'm stronger." He said.

"Lemme see them muscles then." I said.

He rolled up his sleeve and flexed his baby fat. I laughed before nodding.

"I see you. I see you." I said.

"Daddy where you meet Ms. Tay. She really pretty." He said.

Little man got taste.

"I met her at school." I said.

"I'm going to that school so I can meet her too. Then we can get married." He said.

"But what about me? I'm already dating her." I said.

"But she like me more. She even cook
me food , and she gave me animal crackers with my orange juice." He boasted.

"But she give me special treatment errnight." I smirked.

"She give you a bubble bath too?" He asked.

"Yea. A bubble bath little man." I said laughing. Silly kids

"I wanna play basketball like you." He said causing me to smile a little.

"Food ready." Tayah said entering the room.

"Go wash your hands and meet us in the kitchen." I told him.

He ran off towards the bathroom before I grabbed the hand sanitizer off the counter and squirted some in my hand. I went to the kitchen seeing me and King's plates already layed out.

"Thanks bae." I said walking up and kissing her cheek.

She sent me a smile before King walked out and sat down at him seat. Tayah said a quick prayer and we dug in. Tayah could actually really cook, she should do it more often, I know she will though now that King gone be around.

"You start school next year boy. You ready?" I asked King as he chewed a piece of sausage.

"Yes sir. I'm ready to get a gurlfriend." He said.

Tayah gasped a little before laughing.

"What you know about having a girlfriend?" I asked.

"My uncle John taught me to be nice to them." He said.

Uncle John? I never knew Deja had a brother. But at the same time I never knew anything about Deja, she was just a quickie that turned into her having my baby.

"Your so pretty Ms. Tay." King said. His little ass think he slick.

"Thanks. Your handsome." She smiled .

"You wanna be my girlfriend?" I asked.

She laughed a little as I watched this scene play out.

"Yes. I would love to be my girlfriend." She said.

"LaTayah.!" I said putting my hand over my heart. "That hurt."

"Sorry but I couldn't resist." She said.

"You want some of my apple juice?" King asked Tayah.

"Bye? Can she ride with us?" He asked.

I was already having a hard time letting King go and I had only had 2 days with him. I don't know how but I became so attached to him so quick. He got a personality that just draw you in.
