For a moment..

This is my dad's encounter. Yes, it's true.
Dad's POV
I'm a Denver cop. I have been for around 9 years, not much surprises me anymore. So when, on a particularly cloudy and rainy night, I got a call about some maniac screaming about the "angels and demons waging war among the clouds", I wasn't surprised. When I finally got there, I found a man soaking wet, clearly terrified, huddling near a building, with what seemed to be self inflicted scratches on his chest and legs. Waiting for the medics to arrive, I attempted to engage in some dialogue. Most of what he said made absolutely no sense, the usual ramblings of a raging lunatic. Medics arrived, tied him to the gurney, and we loaded him in the ambulance. As I stood by the back doors, he began screaming about the angels and demons fighting in the sky, and the medic gave him a sedative to calm him. They closed the doors, and as the rain let up with a brief flash of lightning, I looked up to the sky. And for just a moment, I thought I saw them too.
