*Many a season without love*
Some days you ask me what happened to us,
Well what happened is that i stopped writing you in my poetry and you stopped seeing me in your eyesWe stopped seeing each other in the songs we often listened to and stopped living our lives like it was the best valentine movie in the cinema
I stopped seeing you seated next to the stars because your light had gone off.
Things are not the same Diane,
You ask me what happened to our dream of living happily ever after,
Well, our dream died when we met new people and we forgot about everything we ever felt.My point is, we is no longer in existence but rather it is you and I.
Sitting here with you at the coffee shop on a different table is different now,
Then I was trying to impress you but now all am trying to do is express my disinterest in you.We lost it when we both hit the road and went in different directions only to lose touch with each other
People change, feelings change, love fades, smiles disappear memories stay the sameBut of what use is a memory if we both have no feelings attached to it
It is merely an old photograph in the album,
A keepsake. What happened years ago has taught me in many ways that love fades
We were young, pretty stupid but we were in love or so we called it,
and now I think we have matured up and know what is right and wrong. And right now reliving our dream is a dream in itself
Goodbye Diane.
I hope you do find happiness.*Lady Tracy*
