Chapter 24 : Bonding
Nang makabalik kami sa classroom ay naroroon na silang lahat and they also had the flower that our teacher asked us to find. Hindi naman sila nag reklamo dahil natagalan kami, bagkus, itinuro saamin ng teacher namin kung paano gumawa ng healing potion gamit ang bulaklak na iyon.
After our class, gaya ng nakagawian ay dederetsyo kami sa dorm para mag pahinga. Nang marating ko ang kusina ay tiningnan ko ang ref. Then I suddenly have the urge to bake some cookies so I did. Madalas kami ni Lola na mag bake ng kung ano ano. She thought me things I can never forget.
"Uy, ang bango!" Nagulat ako ng hinahain ko pa lamamg sa oven ang cookies ay nasa harapan ko na kaagad si Levi.
Akma itong kukuha ngunit mayroong kamay na mabilis na pinalo ang kamay niya. Napadaing ito.
"Patience, patay gutom." Sinamaan lamang ng tingin ni Levi si Flare.
"It smells so good! did you baked these?" Aquacia pointed the new baked cookies.
"Syempre alangang mag-bake mag isa yung oven." Pambabara ni Flare sa kaniya. Napailing ako at tumawa.
"Oo. Kuha kayo." I gestured them to get some, mabilis naman silang kumuha.
"Oh my Gosh! Ang sarap nito!" Ngumunguya pa si Nadia ng sinabi iyon. Napangiti ako dahil doon.
"Sabi na e," Napatingin kami kay Fisso ng pumasok ito sa kusina at nakatingin saakin. Kumuha ako ng isang cookie at iniabot iyon sa kaniya.
"Namiss ko 'to a!" Biro niya bago iyon kagatan. Napatawa naman ako.
"Can I have some?" Tyson asked, tumango ako dito.
Inikot ko ang paningin at napansin na wala si Dawn at Frio. Kumuha ako ng plato at naglagay roon ng cookies na binake ko. Pumunta ako sa salas at naabutan roon si Frio na presenteng nakaupo sa sofa. He's watching TV.
"Gusto mo?" Naupo ako sa tabi nito at inalok siya ng cookies. He only looked at me and shrugged. I already knew what he meant by that.
"Okay," Tumayo ako. "By the way, nasaan kaya si Dawn? haven't seen him lately." Nilingon ko ito para tanungin.
Itinuro niya ang veranda at tumango ako. Pero bago ako tuluyang pumunta sa veranda para puntahan si Dawn ay tinakbo ko siya at sinubuan ng hawak kong cookie. Pagkatapos ay mabilis akong tumakbo.
"Oy," Tawag ko sa atensyon ni Dawn na nakatingala sa kalangitan habang nakaupo sa hamba ng veranda.
"Mahulog ka diyan." Puna ko ng makita kung saan siya nakaupo. Nanatili siya sa ganoong posisyon kaya tumabi ako sa kaniya.
"Gusto mo?" Alok ko sa cookies na hawak ko. Inabot naman niya iyon. I stared on the moon. Gaya ng dati, walang mga bituin at palaging gabi.
"Something is bothering me." He opened up, nilingon ko siya, handang makinig.
"My mother has been weird lately."
"Zafira?" I guessed, her mother is the goddess of time.
"Yeah. She never lost her connection to me ever since but these past weeks, I never heard a word from her." Umiling ito. He must be worried about her mother.
"Trust her. Malay mo, busy lang. She's a goddess." Ngumiti ako sa kaniya.
Days went on and we still continued to attend our class. We usually goes to mall to entertain ourselves too. Madalas kasama ko roon ay si Flare, she's really hyper when it comes to shopping. She will bought everything she wanted.
I brushed my hair but it suddenly floats, tiningnan ko si Glimmer na iniaangat ang kamay niya upang suklayin ang buhok ko. I knew it was her because she likes my hair. Madalas niya akong puyudan base sa mood niya. She usually likes braiding it.
"Serel, we're bored. Can we come over to your classes?" Shine asked as she flew on my front. Wala akong nagawa kundi tumango.
Nang lumabas kami ay naabutan ko si Nadia na kakalabas lang rin sa kwarto niya. She then looked at me. I noticed that she's still on her pajamas.
"You're early." Puna nito saakin.
"Wait," I stopped when I realized something.
"Oh my Gosh, wala nga palang klase!" Natampal ko ang noo ko dahil nalimutan ko.
The Council is taking care of something. It's about the mortal domain. When the portal was opened, it wasn't fully closed, that's why the portal affected the mortal domain.
"I'll go change." Tamad kong saad at bumalik. The flaries look sad.
"How about we'll go to the mall?" I suggested to the pixies, they immediately nodded.
"Alright. Shimmer," I said and called Shimmer. Pumaikot ito saakin at nagbago na ang suot ko.
Lumabas muli ako sa kwarto at dumeretsyo sa kusina kung nasaan si Nadia na nag luluto. The others are probably still sleeping. Oh well, minsan nalang kami makapag pahinga.
Kumuha ako ng pagkain na naluto na niya. I already told her that I'll be going with the pixies to the mall. Habang nakain ay pumasok sa kusina si Fisso. Mukha siyang bagong ligo. He immediately greeted me a good morning as soon as he saw me.
"Going somewhere?" He asked after eyeing me.
"Yup,"
"Can I come?" Nag angat ako sa kaniya ng tingin ng sabihin niya iyon. Memories flooded in me. How we spent much time together back then. We were so close and I guess this world tore our closeness apart. But that doesn't mean we're not friends anymore.
"Of course!" Pumayag kaagad ako.
After kumain ay dumeretsyo na kami ni Fisso sa mall para mag gala. The pixies are so excited, hinila nila kaming dalawa ni Fisso sa candy store na nagustuhan nila.
I roamed around to see the whole shop. Mayroon silang iba't ibang klase ng candies. My eyes twinkled when I saw kitkat. Hindi na ako nagtaka ng makita ko iyon dito. I remember Flare telling me that Versailles is also just like the mortal domain plus the things the naked eyes cant see.
Pupunta sana ako sa section kung saan nakalagay ang kitkat pero hinarang na kaagad ako ni Fisso. He handed me a paper bag and when I looked on it, I saw bunches of chocolates, and it was my favorite ones!
Sa tuwa ay napayakap kaagad ako sa kaniya. He chuckled before hugging me back.
"I missed you," I whispered.
"I missed you too."
After going out to the mall, we went back to the dorm where the others are. Nagtaka pa si Aquacia ng makita na marami kaming dalang paper bags, which is from the pixies. I decided to bought them miniature things, like their beds, and other personal things. Sila ang pumili kaya medyo kami natagalan.
"Ilagay mo na 'yan sa kuwarto mo, Serel. Tinawag tayo ni Dr. Harlem." Levi appeared out of nowhere. Lalakad na sana ako para ilagay ang mga gamit sa kwarto ng mawala iyom sa kamay ko. In just a second, Levi already put the paper bags on my room.
"Bakit raw tayo pinatatawag?" Nadia asked while munching the cookies I baked for them. They liked it so every afternoon, I'm making one.
"Serel's test must've done already." Si Meissa ang sumagot sa kaniya.
"Test?" Gulo kong tanong.
"Ah! Okay!" Agap ko ng maalala na nagpa-test nga pala ako kay Dr. Harlem about sa ability or so called ko. I already forgot about that. Mahigit isang buwan na yata iyon.
"I almost forgot about it. Why did it took him so long to identify it?" Tyson asked and we all shrugged, not knowing the answer.
