Number 52

You set out into the forest in single file.

Thunderclaw stops once you reach the border. "Be careful." You all nod.

You look at Thunderclaw and meow, "Hey Thunderclaw?"

"Yes?" he turns to look at you.

"Can we talk for a second?" You ask slowly.

He nods, "Sure." And follows you further away from the patrol. "Why though?"

"Oh.. just to talk. You know... friend stuff.." you answer timidly.

He shrugs, looking a little sad. "Yeah.. friend stuff.."

You mentally slap yourself for being so stupid. "I.. I mean.." you sigh and take another deep breath, "Ok. Thunderclaw, I- I really like you.. more than a friend... so I was wondering.. if you would be my mate?"

"YES!! Of course!! Oh Duskshadow, why didn't you say anything?" Thunderclaw meows. 

You gasp. "Wait.. you just said yes.. am I dreaming?"

He laughed, "No you're not dreaming!

You talk some more and then return to the patrol, happy as ever.
