"Alright girls! Gather around, we'll be starting in five minutes!" My over enthusiastic dance instructor yelled throughout the studio, causing all of our heads to jolt up from her happy tone.

She is constantly happy, of course she doesn't take shit from anyone, myself included, but seriously. She never stops smiling and laughing her high pitched laugh.

She was Ms. Bummingham. Yes, that very ironic considering for cheerful mood that she possesses twenty-four seven.

"Rosie! Let's get a move on!" My head snapped to Ms. Bummingham's voice from across the room, I hadn't realized that I had been day dreaming, but whatever. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do sometimes. I quickly took my place in the front row, getting reading for our warm-up routine. I faintly heard the door opening and closing but didn't bother to look up.

"Ah! You must be Amanda! Very nice to meet you!" Ms. Bummingham said to an unfamiliar girl I have never met. She was absolutely stunning, with her reddish long hair, freckles cover her tanned skin, beautiful dark grey eyes, and a dancers body. As Amanda and Ms. Bummingham conversed, I went back to my stretching.

I could hear Clara Williams voice from across the room. Her and her minions were gouging over her new car she just got, and not by her own money but by her dads may I add. She was the queen bee of the school, she loved attention, basically lived and breathed off of it, liked to bring anyone down who got in her way, and had a line of guys who she would 'try out' every week, if you know what I mean. I'm not calling her a slut, but if I kicked her in the vagina I would probably lose my shoe.

"Hi! I'm Amanda" I heard a cheery voice from beside me. I turned towards them to see the girl from earlier.

"Rosie" I said with a smile, she gave a smile back before getting on the floor and stretching next to me.

"Have you danced here long?" She asked.

I chuckled at her question, "Since I was four."

She had a look of awe and approval on her face. "Oh my sparkles, I've been dancing since I was four too!"

"Well then, I guess we just have to be best friends." I hinted. I don't really have a real best friend. Sure, I have friends but none that I'm to close to. I just never found the right one I guess. But looking at Amanda, I can see that we will be great friends.

"I guess so" She answered.

"Alright, settle down ladies! Ready positions!" Ms. Bummingham's voice rang out throughout the room covered in mirrors. I got in my form, and relaxed my muscles.

Walk by Ludivico Einaudi flowed through the room, my body moving on its own in the routine we choreographed. My dad calls my his little ballerina, we have a very close relationship. I'm close with my mom to, but not as close as I am with my dad. My mom signed me up for a dance class when I just started kindergarten, I've stuck with it ever since. I'm now eighteen, a senior in high school and I still thank her, to this day, for signing me up.

I glanced up through the mirror at Amanda, she was moving gracefully to the rhythm and seemed to let the routine come to her. I was impressed, she learned the routine just by watching the ones around her.

Two hours later we were done, getting ready to leave. Amanda and I were the only two left in the studio. I drove here so I offered to wait with her until her brother came and got her.

"So how about coffee tomorrow? School doesn't start for another couple days so we should hang out and get to know each other." Amanda suggested.

"Yeah sure, I'll pick you up at three?"

"That'd be-" she was cut off by the door opening.

The hottest guy I have ever seen walked through the door. I seriously had to do a double take to see if he was actually there. He was looking down as he walked towards us but he was wearing dark blue jeans, a grey sweatshirt and I navy blue beanie, covering most of his dark brown hair. He was tall, like 6'4 tall, compared to my 5'4 height. It looked like he had high cheekbones and strong jawline, with freckles spread out across his face.

When he finally looked up, his enchanting light grey eyes meet mine. They were so mesmerizing. It was like he could see through me with the look he was giving me. I could tell he showed all of his emotions with his eyes, considering his face was blank, but his eyes had so many emotions flowing through them.

I heard a throat clear next to me, causing our mini 'staring contest' to cease. I looked over at a smiling Amanda. She had a look like 'I know something you don't' on her face. I gave a confused glance before we both stood up.

"Rosie, this is Caleb, my stepbrother. Caleb, this is Rosie, my new best friend" Amanda introduced us. I glanced over at Caleb to see his gaze was already on me.

I stretched my hand out towards him, "Hi, nice to meet you" He reached out and shook it while muttering a, "you too" in a deep whisper.

"Caleb's a bit shy, Rosie" Amanda mentioned from beside us.

"Amanda, shut up" Caleb grimaced while retreating his hand, I didn't realize we were still holding hands until he pulled away. His hands felt warm, and felt perfectly around mine. But I completely pushed that thought away.

She rolled her eyes at her brother before picking up her bag and walking towards the exit with me in tow. Caleb was silently following us to our cars, coincidently our cars were right next to each other.

"Alright, so tomorrow at three, right?"

"Yeah, I'll text you my address tonight. C'mon Caleb!" Amanda confirmed before hopping in yet passenger seat of Caleb's red, old Chevy truck.

I turned to Caleb, who was still watching me quietly. "Nice to meet you Caleb, I'll probably see you soon." I gave him a small smile.

"Yeah, most likely" he retorted, before giving me a small smile in return but it quickly vanished off his face when he realized he let it slip. He jumped in the drivers seat of his truck before zooming off with Amanda.

Something's different about him, a good different, and I'm going to find out what it is.
