Y/n sighs as she settles into the chair at her kitchen table, a steaming mug of coffee in her hands. She stares at the chipped wood for a moment, gnawing on her bottom lip in deep thought.

She had left William's flat in the wee hours of the morning. She was sure he was sound asleep when she did, and now she feels all kinds of guilty. She should've left a note, or something... Even if she wanted to call him, she couldn't, he didn't have a phone, not one she knew of, anyway.

She must admit, last night was one of her best nights. She doesn't know how she managed to walk home normal enough to avoid getting strange looks. Last night was great. And yet, Y/n felt as though she betrayed herself somehow. She isn't the kind of woman to act simply on carnal desires, no matter how great the sex was. But that doesn't mean she regrets it, she never would.

Things were said last night, and she's not sure if half of them were true. He looked like he meant it, well, she meant it, too. But how can she be sure? It could've just been a way to get into her pants, if it was, his plan worked.

Y/n gazed into her cup silently, moving her wrist to slosh the drink around a bit. Tilting her head, she sighs, suddenly feeling alone in her flat. It wasn't something that usually bothered her, in fact, it never bothered her at all. So getting that heavy feeling of loneliness in her stomach was strange. Maybe it was because of last night, maybe she should've stayed and spent the day with him until it was time to get on with her normal routine. Isn't that what everyone else does?

Y/n jumps, as her phone rang out loudly in the silence of her flat. It vibrates not far from her hand, and Y/n glares at it upon seeing the caller ID. With a groan she picks it up.

“So, someone told me that you went home with a guy last night.”

“So the little spy carried a message to the Queen.” Y/n chuckles, rolling her eyes at her sister's squeal.

“Was it your place, or his?” Jeanette asks curiously.

“His was closer,” Y/n mutters, placing the mug down before pushing it away with a finger.

“Never pegged you for the type to sheet dance with a man you barely know... ” Jeanette says, worry lacing her voice. “Because you do barely know him... You two did use protection right?”

“Of course we did, I ain't that stupid.” Y/n grunts, rolling her eyes. She knows what Jeanette was doing. She was asking her if she knew what she was getting into with William. In truth, a man she barely knows. She's only met him three or four times, so basically, she's slept with a stranger. A very handsome stranger. She didn't want to over think things. But she wondered if this thing between them was going to go anywhere. She didn't know if she wants it to go anywhere. For all she knew, William was one of those sleep and run kind of guys. The ones who gets a kick out of leaving a girl behind.

Well, whatever happens, however the wind blows, Y/n would deal with it.

“Is there a reason you called?” Y/n didn’t want to sound dismissive, but she knew that’s exactly how she sounded. But it’s not like she didn’t want to talk to her sister, she’d just rather be in bed at the moment.
